Impressed by Cam

Biggest improvement I saw was red zone efficiency. In 2019, New England ranked 26th at 49.8%. For just one week, New England ranks 10th at 75%.

Cam scored two touchdowns (60 career!). Sony also found the end zone.

We were very efficient Week 1. Loved Newton. Ordered a jersey.

Strikes me as a bit odd that you're looking for a reason to downplay the excitement around Cam.

I can give you a reason to support him outside of the fact that he's our starting QB: he's articulate, thoughtful, and analytical.

It's really cool hearing candid, detailed answers from a player. Based on what I've heard from Stidham, I'm not-so-sure that he'd bring the same amount of reasoning and contemplation Cam has shown thus far.

When I posted that, he only had one game under his belt. Articulation & thoughtfulness are really irrelevant without wins.
He played great last night. Our defense did not
