Cam is an excellent communicator in these interviews. He listens closely and gives thoughtful, succinct and surprisingly humble replies. I'm all in on this guy; I really want him to succeed at a high level here and I think he will. He certainly deserves to.

Unless I'm reading the above wrong... Zo was drafted by the Pats and didn't he start a playoff game in 98?
You’re reading it wrong, The point is that the starting QB in every Patriot game since week 12 1993 was drafted by New England. Bledsoe, Zolak, Brady, Cassel, Garappolo, and Brissett were all drafted by New England. The last game started by a QB that wasn’t drafted by New England was week 10 in 1993 when Scott Secules started. Nearly 27 years between then and Cam Newton starting now.

So cam is being paid peanuts...where is our money tied too? We went dumpster diving For receiving options...

whose making all the money?

I think cam will have a good year. people forget in 2018 he was having a solid year before his shoulder injury.

The only problem is, this offense is the same Cr@p offense as it was last year that was painful to watch. Only hope is that with Cam's dual threat ability this will be a different offense than last year and we can get guys open. Plus, hopefully there are some breakout guys....because i look at the roster and its Edelman and crickets....

If we still planned to use Brady’s offense then we would be in trouble. Thankfully that’s not happening. No doubt at all this will be a very different offense than the one with our former QB. It should not be compared to that one anymore. Lots of RPO and designed runs and judging by the success of the Pats run game in late 2018 and the Ravens last year I don’t think the league is that well prepared to defend anything like that.
