Lots of misleading information around about Newton's experience with the Erhardt-Perkins system.

Some articles are citing that Norv Turner ran a simplified version of the Erhardt-Perkins system in Carolina. Others identified 2013 - 2017 Panthers OC Mike Shula as an Erhardt-Perkins guy. However, a deeper look reveals that the Air Coryell system has been Newton's bread and butter. I have read that EP concepts can be used to simplify an Air Coryell offense for the QB, so perhaps that's what Turner did for Newton.
