Are you this guy?People who are saying don’t sign him probably don’t realize he lead the bengals to the playoffs in 5 out of his 9 seasons, with 5, 9+ win seasons.
Andy Dalton should definitely be signed to compete with Stidham. You don’t just hand the keys to a 4th round second year QB in April. Competition is needed.
So you're saying there's a chance.I mean, if I'm signing a quarterback with the anticipation they'll start next year, give me Cam over Dalton every single time. If I'm not, I don't see what Dalton gives you over Hoyer, both are pocket passing quarterbacks who add no extra dimensions to an offense and are perfectly capable of being below-average starters that any team will be trying to replace. I think Dalton and Hoyer could both carry the team, give Belichick and the defense, to a divisional title or wild card spot, but I think they'll have very little chance against better teams, which has basically been the Dalton/Hoyer experience over their careers.
If Dalton's the Red Rifle, would Hoyer be the Bald Rifle?Dalton does have a cannon over Hoyer
Don't be a fool.Just finished listening to Charlie Weis on SiriusXM. He thinks Dalton would be a real good signing for the Pats and has been saying it for months if Brady should leave.
I know he’s not an expert like many posters here nor one of those “this guy sucks” tough guys who also post here. He’s just a guy with 3 SB rings coaching the Patriots offense. The same offense they still run. He thinks Dalton would be real good in this offense and would really push Stidham to beat him out as the starter. But, what does he know?
At least you're consistently wrong.Brady is in the late afternoon of his career. - Me on July 5, 2013. Woof.
Do people really believe this crap?"The popular guess is the Patriots but Dalton is probably too good of a player for the Pats this year. Remember, this is the "Bill Belichick is the Smartest Man In the World And Will Try To Win With No Talent" 2020 Tour. If you go to New England, you know you're bad."

If we're going to bring in someone, bring in Cam who is a much better QB and patsfans.com will run a lot faster because certain fans will quit watching the team for some reason.

Kaepernick > Dalton
you're an idiot if you disagree
