Liked him In school I know he did nothing here but I remember in the exhibition game against Detroit Stafford commented on what a advantage it is to have someone roaming in the secondary long and tall like a Dlineman out there trying to get the ball over those long arms.

Not sure that’s the reason but could be considering our current cap situation and the probability that Obi isn’t in our projected top4 safeties.

Also: Keonta Davis had a 680K cap hit. Both, however, were past the top 51 cut off. Not sure how that factors into it.

Looking at that list, if Phillips and Dugger can keep Brooks in the "Ebner" role of ST only safety, I think we're in great shape there.

I don't recall Van Noy being much of a project. He slid into his role pretty instantly.
