Why on earth would you want MCcourty and Slater gone ? This doesn't make any sense .
Wow, someone needs their blankey. McCourty and Slater are two of the most beloved Patriots ever. Did you hate Brady’s speeches too ?2 most annoying speech givers in the history of Boston sports. Slater post-game and McCourty pre-game. Simply obnoxious.
As for Sanu...he was slow when he came into the league. He is now 30. The math isn't difficult.

And that’ll just be from reading the GDT.To answer the question in the title: Expect pain. Lots of pain. And anguish. And despair. And frustration. And despondency. And anger. And bitterness. And nostalgia.
So watching this should be like catnip to you...I want Cat like quickness ans hustle across the board.
That’s a pretty random ass group to put out there. McCourty is a good player and he and Slater have been the team leaders for years.I'll be fine with the Post-Brady era as soon as Sanu, McCourty and Slater are gone.
Some people are going to be surprised when we go 11-5 and make the playoffs.
What to expect?
Some ups. Some downs.
Some good weeks. Some bad weeks.
Eventually, a return to the SB.
But, we will have to be patient.

One thing we're all going to have to start living with is the passing of the Patriots mystique. Teams are not going to be as intimidated of the Patriots as they used to be, and they're not going to be making any more colossal self-inflicted mistakes.
Gone are the glory days of the butt fumble and the fake punt.
