Was the trade value even equal !?!?
Yeah, the problem with this thinking is that Bill has been brutal drafting in the 2nd round lately. I wonder if they traded back this year for financial reasons. Not sure why they can't do anything with Thuney.
Even worse, GB traded up to the 1st to pick him!Ala, the Pats drafting Jimmy a few years back?
Probably, but I think they’re really targeting 2021 when Tua is ready. They've got 2 guys who's 2020 seasons are likely to be "ish". I'm marking down for that.
I agree with you, in general, but I'm not as sold on what we'd call "long-term potential" as I am on "short-term to mid-term potential", because I think it's less likely to pan out as hoped.

They certainly need to produce in year two and beyond but so many rookies struggle in year one that I give them a pass unless they look awful.
Yay!!! We win!!!
Next years team is going to be dog ****. Bill is still drafting like he has Tom Brady to bail him out.
Wilson in the first. Wow. Another guy I thought would be a really reasonable choice if we picked up a second rounder. 29th is a bit rich for me, though.
