I actually hope that the Patriots are in on Jordan Ta'amu. Loved what I saw from him in the XFL as a leader with a balanced skillset and an accurate arm. Ta'amu would mostly be there to push Stidham but he looks like fantastic backup material, and maybe more.

Another guy I'd love to see brought in as a potential backup is Nick Mullens of the 49ers. Really impressed me in his relief appeareances in SF, even if they didn't end the way he might have liked.
