South Carolina is still sending state employees to work in offices, for what it's worth. There's a clear distinction between the leadership of the parties here in how they're handling it (with some exceptions like Scott, Baker, and Hogan). The administration was as willing as the Chinese you hate so much to try to dust this under the rug.

I wish you were right, but you have to go back to the Spanish flu 100 years ago to find a pandemic as bad as this one is shaping up to be. Millions died (20m worldwide, 675k Americans - including 5 of my father in law's sibs who were all little kids at the time).

It’s his fault that idiot millennials hopped on airplanes for spring break amidst the many warnings in the media? Sure, he definitely shouldn’t have called this a “hoax,” but people were going to travel regardless of whether he took anything seriously or not from the beginning. You sound like you’re left leaning with a bit of an axe to grind. This is basically a plague. It’s happened many times before and it will happen again after this one.

The Spanish Flu was the last time there was a virus anywhere near this level. They tend to happen in +/- 100 year increments.

It has nothing to do with them being Dems...he took a shot at Republican governors, like that had anything to do with it. He could have easily said the governors of some major states are showing leadership beyond what Trump is doing, but he instead mentioned they were Dems. Who cares?

You can deflect all you want but the irrefutable facts are that this administration was slow in reacting, the FDA totally screwed up the testing response, and everybody knows it.
