They could have made it work if they had given him a 2 year contract with a third year thrown in for cap reasons. It looks like if they only paid him S3 million a year they couldn't add any weapons considering out cap space.
It's kind of weird that some that are excited to see Tom go to TB are also hoping AB joins him there. It didn't end well in PIT, it didn't end well in OAK, it didn't end well in NE. Bringing AB in to TPA seems incredibly risky to me. Everyone involved will have a lot of things to deal with just to get the team going in the same direction. Adding a loose cannon like AB to that mix makes no sense to me.People actually still believe the Pats were in the wrong cutting AB? The guy is a lunatic and would have absolutely been put on the exempt list. It sucked to get a small glimpse of what could have been, but AB is nuttier than chinese chicken salad and would not have been available for us with all of his legal troubles
He deserves it....hope he gets 3 years!
Did I say that they weren't? The question I posed was whether Brady had an advantage over opposing quarterbacks in bad weather. For instance, he has a 13-2 record in games played in temperatures below 32 degrees. That is an .867 winning percentage compared to a career winning percentage of .774. His completion percentage in those very cold games is 62.8% versus 63.8% for his career. So he is a bit less accurate in very cold weather (or maybe his receivers drop more balls), but his odds of winning go up by almost ten percent. His numbers in warm weather are much BETTER than the opposition's QB he faced in warm weather.

I wish Tom happiness in TPA except when playing NE, but I also hope wiser heads prevail and AB stays out of the league till he can show he can handle himself a lot better than he has in the past.
30 million bucks is what I said Brady was going to get on the open market. It's a ridiculously high price to pay but I think Tampa Bay is a legit super bowl contender now.
How much lol? They have a lot of offensive talent and salary cap space.
I bet we win more games though.

Playoff contender IF he stays healthy, which he hasn’t the past several years. Oh and also if his body holds up, which is also part of the injury thing. People just seem to forget the massive amounts of time he missed the past few seasons, and thats gonna change how?
Edit: All this MVP, SB contender eeerrrmygod he’s gonna be awesome, is all just because they hate the fact BB didn’t pay for past performance and sent their baby away. So that also makes such proclamations invalid.
