Devon has been the heart and soul of the D for the second part of the dynasty.

I'd be very happy to have him back.

Yup that secondary is that good. Mostly Gilly. But keep DMac behind him and there are a bunch of good young CBs so I'm not worried bout age. Maybe add a Safety in the 3rd Rd. The secondary is the position I worry least about if DMac is back.

Obviously, there are further personnel moves. We won't go without a NT and with no LB for the rotation when Van Noy and Collins go. But this is NOP.

I think that we'll be top 5 in point allowed, as we usually are.

Downside... that's a big number. Like so big, I wonder if the Patriots know something about their biggest, most important free agent.

That's great news and looks like BB is getting other players out of the way. Money is not the issue they can work the contract and if BB can find it in his heart to guarantee 2 years he'll most likely get a damn good deal from Brady.
