Titans to cut Dion Lewis

I see alot of people kicking the guy for the stupid comments he made. We see this time and time again, making stupid comments to the press doesn't add any value in the NFL. Its an unforgiving league, players go from elite to nothing burgers in 3 years. You can't beat Bill Belichick as a player because you will get old and he will not. Take care of your body, make good career decisions and don't make stupid comments you will regret 700 unforgiving days later.

Sign him immediately if he is 85% what he was when he was here.

Putting aside the cross talk, 15% slower, less elusive, less tough, and less dependable doesn't even make the team.

Dont see a role for him here. Sony, white, and burkhead of 2019 / late 2018 would all be ahead of him. And Harris would probably get at least another year at least to show something before getting cut for someone who’s probably well past his best days. bolden should be back as well he looked great last year even in his offensive reps. Thats 5 rbs and develin if he’s healthy.

I'd much prefer Dion Lewis at $1.5m over Rex Burkhead at $3m.

Who gives a damn about his prior remarks? Can he still produce on the field?? That being said, some youth would be welcome.

He is the producer of a new Netflix show called I Can No Longer Produce On The Field. So, yes and no.

If Jamie Collin can come back I don't see why for Lewis, although James White already does everything.

We will just need Bill fire up the nucleogenesis machine to generate some Neon to inject into Dion and he will be back to lighting it up.

Eh, for vet min I wouldn’t mind kicking the tires but wouldn’t be real excited about it.

It won’t impact whether Bill would bring him back or not. He doesn’t give a **** about petty stuff like
this.

If Bill thinks he can play, he’ll sign him whether Dion thinks he’s an ******* or not.

Jamie Collins could still play.

Lmao. Y'all are silly. Dion was explosive and is just enough of a dual threat to not telegraph a playcall when he's on the field. Do you remember how annoying it was that we didn't have an RB who could threat both the run and pass last year?

I don't give a single solitary **** about his comments, if he can produce what he did when he was with us, I'm all in. My main knock against Michel was NOT his running, as there were so many issues attributed to that (no real fullback, bad O-line blocking). It was the fact that he telegraphed a run every damn time.

DL was great when he was here and I was really upset about losing him. But, come on...he is so far over the hill now...he is not worth a roster spot.

I agree, but that's totally irrelivent to my post. My post was more so about time being an enemy to players, and stupid comments to the media do not create value.

Ah gotcha. Thought you meant he tanked his value by his comments.

It is time to move on and get younger, not older as a team.

Whether it was a diminished skills issue, or a system fit issue, Lewis never repeated what he did in New England. And, to me, he never really looked as if he got comfortable and settled in while playing for the Titans.
