I do not think Brady is coming back. I do not think Bill will want him back at age 43 at his price. Time to turn the page (regrettably)

Need ball control run dominant offense to deal with the Mahomes of the world.

1. Draft Jalen Hurt at 23 (if necessary) or in 3rd round- training camp competition between Stidham and Hurt. Hurt is a tough winner and I expect he will be starting QB by week 6. Let him learn on the job.
2. Use most of cap space to sign Austin Hooper
3. Let Damien Harris compete for 2nd RB slot in TC
4. In offseason teach Harry how to run routes every day
5. Get Sanu involved as # 2 WR
6. Cut all current TE's on roster
7. Use top picks in 3rd round to get a LT and DT ( beefing up both sides of line should be top priority in 2021 dart also)
8. Move Wynn to Guard
9. Get Cajuste and Froeholdt playing and in the program
10. Put Gunner on punts all day and save Edelman for WR DUTY
11. trade for OJ Howard
12. Unfortunately let Thunes and Van Not go as can not afford them
13. Sign scrub inexpensive veteran QB as mentor for Hurt/Stidham, e.g. Matt Moore or Brett Hundley
14. sign bruiser RB like Carlos Hyde and cut Rex B.
15. Change offense to make use of Hurt's skills with RPO a key component
16. Preferably bring Develin back as FB, if he can't get Jakob Johnso to start hitting people.

2021 should have lots of cap space to finish 2 year rebuild

Will take 2 years and they will be back in hunt.

At what price is that?

You know this how?

According to your plan, we'll be a run-first team with no tight ends

Im all in, who do we get with #1 pick in 2021?

We don’t, we’re farked

Should I step back or should I jump? Be honest.

Consider all the possibilities.. it is gonna be a very long offseason.

If Brady is gone, prepare for a multiple year rebuild.

What if Brady is not, not coming back?

I’ll stay positive : “yes” to getting those young OLs involved in the 2020 edition. “Yes” to giving Harris a shot at contributing more.

What if Brady is not, not coming back?

Brady recently commented how hard it is just getting to the Super Bowl game.

Why would Brady roll the dice on a totally new team instead of sticking with a 9 time Super Bowl challenger?

Devil’s advocate :

Players that reach Brady’s level only do so with supreme confidence. I suspect Brady feels he can lead almost any team to wins. Furthermore, perhaps he no longer sees NE as a viable contender. Maybe Brady thinks that with him at QB, Dallas would be better positioned.

Well, I'm all in on #3 and #9. Let Harris, Cajuste, and Froholdt compete for playing time.

Brady not coming back its Stidham or some unexpected move like the Saints moving on from Drew Brees while he still wants to play.

Bringing Bridgewaters or Daltons of the world doesn't help the team in the long run, se what we have in Stidshow or blow it up.

Lol @ teach Harry to run routes. I’m sure they hadn’t thought of that.

I don't agree with all your details but like your general train of thought. A serious effort to re-sign Thuney and Van Noy should be made, for instance.

Brady has maybe 2 years left.

The GOAT NFL HC got the team there 9 times in 20 years.Roughly 50% odds.

5. Get Sanu involved as # 2 WR

Confused...thought title says " how do we fix the Patriots". Sanu sucks. we dont have a prime AJ or Julio to help Sanu look competent. He got passed up by Marvin Jones and Ridley for WR2 within a year of each of the respective WR coming to the team. He's a WR3 on a good day

Should have gone with "Get AB the help he needs and resign him at vet minimum".

I would have believed that.:D

Saw #1 and immediately closed thread

Well figuratively, not literally, I had to write this response
