Packers vs Seahawks

There’s a reason the Pats draft room went nuts when they drafted him. He has the mental makeup to be an assassin. He really is going to be Brady 2.0.
Well this is how you do it you seize your opportunity with a loaded team. This SF team is much stronger than 2001 pats.

The 49ers are great. Not thing to be a smart ass here. I don’t care that they came out of nowhere. They are by far the best team in the NFL and will be the champs.

To clarify my last post, I meant that I didn't think GB was that great but they do keep winning. Gotta give credit where it's due. I do think the 49ers are really good and will beat green bay. They are my current pick to be SB champs too if I had to pick just one team to win it all. I don't think they are anywhere near unstoppable though. I could see them losing.

Both KC and SF are 7.5 point favorites.

Of course they could lose. You know the saying. The fight is not always to the strongest or the race to the swiftest, but that’s how to bet. Something like that. Contrarily, I don’t envision the Niners losing, unless Mahomes just goes alien life form on them.

Well @robertweathers , I’ve told you year my nightmare scenario was Pats-49ers in the Super Bowl. Would become a wild revisionist take about the perils of holding onto a star player for too long when the 49ers absolutely smash the Patriots (not really due to Jimmy and Tom, but because of the matchup.). It would have become a chapter or epilogue of the dynasty in “what could have been” like Paul Brown passing over Bill Walsh for head coach, but in a much brighter spotlight.

So all in all, this was the best year for the Patriots to just fall short. Got to see the Ravens get kicked out the door and the end result is likely to be a 49ers win anyway, just not against the Patriots. That’s my silver lining.

49ers gonna whoop that ass

Pictures of Mahomes and Rodgers, with dozens of candles to be lit under them, being assembled tonight at 345 Park Avenue. Another “passing of the tourch” so to say.

Shocked the Chiefs are slightly favored to win the SB right now. Implies head to head the Chiefs-Niners game is roughly a pick em or maybe Chiefs by 1-2. I would have capped it at 49ers -5 or so. You have one very well balanced team and one very imbalanced team. This sounds like the 1984 Super Bowl 49ers vs Dolphins. Think Niners would handle Chiefs quite handily if that’s indeed the matchup. By modern standards that’s a 7-10 point win, though, not a 30 point shellacking like back then.

Jimmy is about to take that torch in a true torch passing from one Patriots draft steal to another.

If it's 9ers chiefs and I'm not so sure I'd give SF that trophy to quickly, that KC O is absolutely loaded and will be a handful...

As brady says, its hard to get to the SB , its even harder to win it . We have seen how week to week these games play out differently. SF may win next week but its also possible GB comes out hot and puts the pressure on the home team. And the chiefs scoring 51 may not cross 20 next week. That is the nature of these games. People always give the pats grief of playing in the weak afc e and having 1st round byes all the time. As we see now, its not easy to win even after having a bye .

Jimmy G threw the ball ~6 times after his 2nd Q interception yesterday. SF will win because of their running and defense.

Not a very convincing win by the Packers. They lived dangerously on 3rd down all game. Hard to see the far superior 49ers defense failing over & over again like Seattle's D did.

Garoppolo turning it over may be the Packers' only hope.

49ers/Titans Super Bowl would be ideal.

Well, yes. I suppose SF/NE is possible if the Chiefs, Titans, Ravens and Texans simultaneously get caught for some egregious cheating that would banish them from the league. That would be ideal.

Ha.

I think the Chiefs win the whole thing.

I wonder if Green Bay learnt anything from the ass whopping San Fran delivered earlier in the season. If not, Rodgers is DOA.
They played ok yesterday but the 9ers are a better team

SF/NE would be ideal BEFORE the Pats loss! thought you knew what I meant

9ers defense hasn’t been playing as well the latter part of the season. They are going to need to put together 2 more good performances to get it done.
