Up 24-0, a few things are imperative:

Run the ball.

Slow the game down. Prevent/discourage any momentum for opponent.

I don't think so. 24-0 with 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter isn't the same as 28-3 with like, 3 minutes left in the 3rd.
