Brady said retirement is unlikely.

Now the question is, how will BB and the organization handle this? Will they pay up? They must commit some talent around Brady if they want to bring him back.

I don’t see him wanting to stick around with the current wide receiver core other than Jules.

Sanu’s last 5 games. 1 for 11, 3 for 35, 3 for 24, 2 for 13, 1 for 13. It gets worse before that as well. Harry ‘a numbers are similar. These are the two guys what where getting all snap counts ahead of Meyers and dorsett. That’s underwhelming if you asked me.

Desperate times called for desperate measures. Belichick knew we needed help at WR and Sanu was an attempt to get help. 2nd round pick down the toilet.

Ray rice and Adrian Peterson were suspended indefinitely while the league was investigating and deciding how to please public opinion
They must not have had the NFLPA to go to bat for them, like AB has, right?

The biggest thing that jumped out at me is that the team needs to be more physical moving forward. They’re not built to be physical, likely to build a team capable of competing with KC, but this season showed they need to strike more of a balance, or risk getting exposed against the likes of bigger teams.

They’re physical and athletic at CB, but fairly light at DL and S, and on the flip side, the OL was a bit soft this season.

Gilmore, Jackson, and Jones will be back, so CB is set for next season. Hopefully JMac, too, although I guess he might retire.

Some guys at DL with heavy hands, fresh blood at SS, along with a stouter OL will solve a lot of what ails this team.

They were clearly beaten on the line on both sides of the ball

And you literally don’t “know” he wouldn’t be playing if he was still on the roster, so thanks for concluding your equally as full of sh*t as you think I am...

Problem with your theory is, if he’s on a roster, the NFLPA can go ahead and sue the league if they stonewall Brown on their “investigation”.

They can’t sue if he’s totally free to sign with any team at any time, hence the league freezing him out.

It seems the lack of reading comprehension lies squarely in your court...

I know more than you, because the investigation still isn't complete. So one of us has facts, the other has done fantasy timeline they made up

You mean besides the fact that Peterson was indicted by a grand jury for child abuse while Brown was sued in civil court in a pure money grab?

And again, reading comprehension, why isn’t the investigation complete?

Because the NFL doesn’t want it to be.

This was now officially the most fraudulent 12-4 team in recent history. they lost at home in a wild card vs a NINE win team AND lost a game AT HOME that would've given them a BYE to a FOUR WIN TEAM.

Face it, the team is not that good. Against a tougher schedule they're a borderline 10 win team. I know it sucks, but that's the facts, jack.

Watch how the NFC #3 seed plays tomorrow... something tells me they'll put up more than 13 points at home and score more than one touchdown.

The Patriots played today, and the second half of the season like a 6 seed that sneaks into the playoffs and get pounded WC weekend. Let's not forget, this team was only up 7 at home to the Giants and a rookie QB before said QB started throwing picks...

And Philadelphia and Dallas BOTH had the ball with a chance to tie or win late in the 4th

This team also involved in a way too competitive game vs Washington in the first half

I don't have confidence in Belichick to draft his way out of this ..

Absolutely. Investigating those texts would have been a one day investigation. No criminality was involved, after all, so it was just a matter of listening to the dueling tales of woe. And that was all that had changed, so the rest is irrelevant.

The anti-AB can’t seem to wrap their head around this. It’s quite amusing to watch their heads spin.

The same guys who curse at the NFL for Deflategate, are the same ones who seem to think they’re being fair and truthful here to Brown. Hilarious stuff.

I sincerely have to ask, who are you talking to? You just keep making random overtly negative posts every 10 minutes to no one, about no specific topic, with no explicit purpose beyond “I’m smart and this team is bad and the rest of you are not as smart as me”.

Chill out man. I don’t wanna blast people just for having a different opinion but it gets tiring with some people.

Horrendous play calling from the 1 (why would you call 3 consecutive off tackle runs to the left?). McDoofus can go and enjoy Cleveland calling crap like that.

Edelman with yet another drop and he couldn't have done it at a worse time, Sanu was pathetic on the pick just let Ryan go right through him and offered zero fight.

"Boogeymen" were the ones that were scared today and didn't have a clue what to do with Henry.

All in all a crappy end to a pretty dull season.
I think he was being held.

I am looking forward in reading the film breakdown thread to see how the Patriots adjusted to Henry. Seemed to me he slowed down a little bit when they went with Superbowl 53 look?

And again, reading comprehension, why isn’t the investigation complete?

Because the NFL doesn’t want it to be.

So it would be complete if her was still on the Pat's? You know this how?

Clicking on a post reaction icon makes him a troll?

Grow tf up, Christ.

I'm so ****ing sick of grown ass men throwing temper tantrums worthy of a 13 year old youtuber over something as innocuous as post reactions.

TE, a competent wideout, DL. This team has a lot of needs it seems. Could be tough.

I think he was being held.

Just my $.02, but:

  1. Sanu should have kept coming forward. The extra yard was meaningless there.
  2. The guy who had a holding/P.I. argument was Harry along the sideline earlier.

On thirty posts it freaking is.

Hop off his jock. He can fight his own battles.
