“We’re onto Buffalo...”

That buffalo defense is the real deal!

our receivers need to continue to figure out how to get open and quit dropping the ball.

We should be able to spring a misdirection play for a td as the buffalo defense is fast and over runs plays.

But Myers has shown very little. I keep hoping for him, but he still does not look comfortable. Harry and Sanu looked a lot better Sunday.

He hasn't been looked at. I mean, come on. Give him a chance. I mean, this is like asking you to be a spot player at your job and to stop and start, thinking it's the real you in a role. Give these rookies a role and a rhythm.

As for Dorsett, like I suggested, use less of him and make him more strategic (generally speaking) out the slot. He can do damage in spots. Deep, in the slot on 3rds, etc. Heck, run a reverse with him so they see another guy doing it.

Look at the results. MOre RB use, less Edelman and Dorsett, It's a start. They can build off of it.

Now, incorporate more 2 back sets.

I'd like to see when it's 3rd and 7, Dorsett in the slot, maybe no TE at all, and a 2 back set, where you can motion one of the backs to chip and hit the flat if Brady thinks he needs it on the edge.

It is called Hanlon's razor. Look it up.

Or maybe we have had similar problems forever but the lack of UHD cams, high resolution slow motion and the lack of social media that acts as a multiplier made you feel like that.

Sorry, dude.

1. I looked it up and it doesn't apply.
2. If I was that inept at my job, I'd be fired.

There's nothing "slow motion" about a DB desperate after getting beat like that. See Dorsett tackled in mid air by the Chiefs DB.

Every game against a good team is a bad match for NE this year. If they can not beat Buffalo at home then they do not deserve a bye and will be at best one and done in the playoffs
I'm sorry, they will be at best one and done? wtf would they be at worst?

This is the kind of game that previous championship Pats teams would end up dominating. Anytime those teams went into a "bad matchup", be it a good running team against our bad run D, or a defense built to stop Brady with an offense that's struggling in this case, they would always make a statement. Aside from the big divisional and bye week implications, it would be nice to see a statement win against a current playoff team. I feel like that's what previous SB winning teams did, and it would be a good sign here.
sure, but last year the statement game we would've expected was the pitt game.

I mean, they're the little brother you wish didn't try to hang out with you. They';re annoying and entitled.
Of course being the classy fans they are they're wishing injury on Brady, bunch of low lifes in the hell hole of a city.
Not to mention they're spewing half truths and ignorance.

Josh Allen is still terrible. Force him to throw the ball and we’ll win.
The problem is that our run defense is bad and teams are well aware of it.

It was bad the first series then they tightened things up with different personel, the stats after that weren't bad and they forced Dalton to throw which didnt work out to well for them.

This is going to be a tough one. The Bills have a damn good team this year. Tough defense. We're going to have to bring it, but I think we're up for the challenge.

Pats- 24
Bills- 21

Bills have only given up 300+ yards in the air one time this season. They’re the real deal, at least on that side of the ball.

Should be a great game. The 2 best defenses in the league should seemingly be able to handle struggling offenses. Seems like a game that will be decided by turnovers and a few big plays. Game is actually more important for the Pats than the Bills as they need to win out to get the 2 seed while the Bills division hopes are out of their hands. I like the Pats to win a close, defensive battle.

How is this a bad match up? They've demolished this kid twice already. He doesn't have it, IMO.

He was downplaying the game vs Baltimore in case they lost, too.

He has a very good arm and loves that deep ball. He said he was studying Brady this off-season to work on his mid/short range game, too. It's also they paid too much for Beasley.

That's my lone concern, outside of Gore, is that match up right there, especially with Jon Jones dinged.

You focus on the run, Allen running like you would Mahomes Or Big Ben (it's that consistent set the edge on every down focus, so when he does want to tuck and run you have a spy at LB or with Chung as the Rover coming up the middle to get him), and then you take away the deep section of the field, forcing him underneath. That's it. The gameplan is clear and when BB has a concise, clear approach for his D the results are good.

Denial

Brady 19 TDs - 7 INTs - 61% completion rate
Allen 17 TDs - 8 INTs - 60% completion rate

Brady is not playing good. The offensive players beyond Edelman and White are mediocre JAGs. If you are expecting this Pats offense to light up the Bills passing defense then youll be in for a long game. The Pats will struggle to run too. Bet your bottom dollar on that one. Expect a lot of Sony for 2 yards.

Buffalo will run though. The Bengals ran through the NE defense like 5hit through a goose. Allen doesnt need to be Mahomes because he can run with the ball just like he did at Wyoming. We just watched Kelce play RB in a formation that scored a TD. Why would Buffalo do something different? They wont. Allen needs to complete enough passes which he can do.

Allen is not a Bust. Hes on a short leash like Brady was in 2001. Allen has a lot more to learn before he can be considered a good QB and possibly a great QB.

I agree Brady has been down, but I really am encouraged by what I saw on Sunday. I mean, the score over 30 0n offense there if he's just a bit better with some really easy throws (Sanu, Michel, etc). I mean, his first throw of the game was an airmailed doozy to a wide open Sanu.

And, no offense, but Brady and NE have been liking Sanu from afar for years. I bet BB doesn't see Sanu as a JAG and Harry looks like he has the goods as a 1st rd pick. These are far from JAGs.

And, what is with the disrespect for a guy like Burkhead anyway? The guy helps us win games, helped us in the title game last year and makes good plays, when used.

It only appears like the team doesn't have weapons. They scratched the surface with it last week.

Lastly, when your D is as as good as NE's, BB will take clock all day long in games like this. NE controlled the game in the early 3rd qtr and pulled away. Mixon had that 1 big run really.

If BB wants to stop the run, his D stops the run. We've all seen it.

Allen is trending towards bust status. He folds vs good Ds and when he is going against a good QB, All of his production this year came against crap teams. It's a mirage. A good D dismantles him. Keep in mind, for all the of flak this team has taken about a soft schedule, Allen has seen the same kind of schedule.

Allen lacks accuracy vs good Ds and you'll see it on Sunday. Again.

No denial here, I just know what I am talking about with you doom and gloom Pats/Puritan Guilt type fans.

The problem is that our run defense is bad and teams are well aware of it.

We've heard this before and then the Pats D locks down vs the run and no one says anything.

You don't win SBs, especially 13-3 with a bad run D.

lol

BB doesn't care about stats and when he schemes to stop the run, the D responds.

Wow that website layout is awful. All images run off the side of my phone (which may now have several viruses, thanks a lot :D)

The Bills make you appreciate how much success the Patriots have had and their fan website makes me appreciate how good we have it on this board with all of Ian’s hard work!

Tell me about it. Can't read more than 2 pages they sound like morons. I don't know why but I don't think this game will be an issue at all. The playcalling was much better last game and Sony looked good again. Allen is going to stare down his receivers and feed our DBs or he'll run and try to go head first into one of our safeties and get hurt. Pats by 10+.

Well, he's in his 4th year and does about 30 meaningless tackles and about 5 neaningless sacks per year.

I am sorry, but for 19th overall pick, that's beyond mediocre.
He was a 4th Rd pick.
