Curran (again) - Are these Tom Brady's final days with the Patriots?

I can see him retiring as much more likely.

The only fit I can see for him in other team is the Chargers who are tired of Rivers and is LA based. Let's remember Brady is a brand, he has a lot of business he is growing and his wife also needs to be somewhat close to a place like LA or NY. He's not moving to ****ing Detroit.

Being a Charger does nothing for his brand. Being a Ram, maybe - maybe. No one in LA cares about the Chargers and that won't change even with Brady at quarterback.

I wouldn't be mad if he decided to leave for a team that is "all in" to win another championship.

Where would he go (that needs a quarterback) that would improve his chances of another championship?

Chicago, LA Chargers, Vikings...

All downgrades. Especially the Chargers.

Also, do you think the Vikings are going to eat 31 million in dead cap money to go from Cousins to Brady for a year?

Chicago or the rams if they could find a way out of the Goff deal

Cousins stinks. Manage that CAP! They can figure it out.

Chicago Bears for 3 first rounders. Oh wait he'll be a FA

It would be a shame for Brady to wind down a uniquely stellar career by starting over elsewhere. It's quite a risk heading into the unknown at the end of a long career, however, he's gotta do what he think is best for him.
As far as the article, I'm always amazed at how it goes from suggestion to almost reality once the suggestion is repeated enough. Fyi, this could also be Brady's final season and he decides to retire (next Curran article?). The likeliest reality is Brady will decide what he wants to do after the Super Bowl. Before then media will feast on fandom's nervousness that the 10-2 record hasn't been earned with offensive dominance.

I moved to LA 4 years ago and currently stuck here for another 4 years. No one cares about the Chargers and no one cares about the Rams. That doesn’t matter though; athletes don’t care. They want to live in Southern California.

Just as few people care about the Clippers out here as the two NFL teams, but that didn’t stop Kawhi Leonard signing with that team.

I think at this point, there’s a 25% chance Brady returns to New England, 25% to the Chargers, 25% somewhere else, 25% chance he retires.

I also live in LA and LA fans go where the stars are or who’s winning. When the Kings where going on their Stanley Cup runs, everyone and their f***ing Mom’s were Kings fans. If Brady goes to the LA Chargers, in that brand new stadium, with Super Bowl hype, people will ditch the Rams so fast as they are trending downward.

The Chargers make the most sense out of any team. They have a ton of talent on offense and defense plus a brand new stadium. Not to mention he’s from California. Doesn’t he also work out in LA with Jules? I also see him getting them to sign AB.

Chicago, LA Chargers, Vikings...
Dolphins. No more Tua to tank for and Cincy’s getting the #1 anyway. Chad O’Shea is OC, Flores head coach, so Patriot playbook and culture connections. Miami has history - he can step in as a Dolphin QB after Marino similarly to Manning after Elway. Miami is very marketable as a free agent destination especially with Brady there. Very marketable spot for his wife’s career too. And I’m sure if Brady is motivated enough to leave, he’d relish getting to face the Patriots twice a year to show them they were wrong. And he’d still be Jet stain free. And as mentioned already, if Brady is still playing at his current level with his current system, his mere presence turns any team into a contender.

Nah, they have zero talent.

Have you seen Cousins this year? The Vikings are not in the market for a QB. They certainly aren't going to trade their current one for another one that's 12 years older.

Even Brady won't move the needle for the Chargers. LA cares about the Lakers. That's about it. There are more Patriots fans living here now than either Chargers or Rams fans.

Me: Hey what's up. Hope all is well.

So we would just exchange through PayPal after the fight?

I have no problem with that if that's the plan?

We don't know each other, obviously but I'm very much a man of my word.

I'm working until 330-4 depending on what goes on today but will be on later/tonight and prob even check in at lunch.

FS: Yep, sounds good

Me: Would you still consider raising the amount?

Say 2k?

FS: Absolutely

Me: No need to leave the forum buddy.
Are you saying FS got banned because he made a side bet with you (a private matter) and welched?

I mean who bets $2k with a total stranger (online or not) with no guarantees anyway?
Why would the forum care? Did you rat him out?

Miami is a reasonable choice if Brady can't reach a reasonable deal with the patriots. They have lots of cap space. He knows the OC, and I'm sure O'Shea would have a system that meets Brady's needs.

I agree that Brady being there would help MIA secure free agents.

A TB12 clinic built right by the new $900 trillion stadium that services 2 NFL teams and near 2 NBA teams, 2 MLB teams, 2 MLS teams, 2 major universities and 1 hockey team would be a major brand boost don’t you think?

Called this weeks ago, but none of you could see the writing on the wall and I got disliked to hell.

Kraft’s meddling with the personnel and cutting Brown, has spiraled into this and could very lead to Brady’s departure. The guy isn’t happy and hasn’t been since Week 3.

He’s literally talking about potentially leaving in interviews. How much more smoke do y’all need to detect fire?

I don't understand why anyone thinks that Brady would want to go to LA. He was raised in NORTHERN California. The only West Coast team that would have any interest would be his boyhood team San Francisco, and they have a QB.
