Question, do we have any cap space to sign AJ Green?
If Brady retires are we able to get Bridgewater?

A third question: are you serious?

Bridgewater is okay but he didn’t exactly light the world on fire with the Saints or Vikes. I think he’ll cost a lot more than he’s really worth.

I'll add to it for the sake of trying to change the discussion if we're going to do this:

If Brady retires, are you comfortable with Stidham? Or who would you want them to target?

(I'd prefer to focus on this season, but again, I'll play along ;) )

I'd like Studarm to get a full season before we started trying to find salvage projects on other teams' depth charts.

It’s hard enough winning WITH Brady even when he’s at his best ! If Brady moves on, I vote for a Stidham or another young QB over a so so vet... everything should be about SBs. So better to build towards that than stay stuck in So-so-land for a decade like Dallas.

IF Brady retires to me it's not so much a matter of being comfortable with Stidham or anyone else but rather how comfortable I am with the QB position will depend on what direction they take. Brady's isn't the only pending FA, this team could look radically different next year. Power football anyone?

If Brady retires???

I'm taking it day by day in life and as a Pats fan. Whatever happens happens.

I'm enjoying both. Brady has given me and my family so many great memories that I will happily endure anything that comes.

When it's time for the next guy I'll be there but right now it's just another Brady chapter so Let's ****ing go.

but...but...but...Dreamy JimmyG is coming back after Tom hangs em up...right? RIGHT???

Philly may cut Carson Wentz. :D

I'm all in on Teddy B. At least he can scramble when our crappy receivers can't get open...

I just have one question for you: how dare you.

The premise is that Brady retires.

If Brady retires or moves on we are in rebuilding mode on offence.

No TEs
Edelman 34 yrs old
No other proven WRs

We quite honestly have the worst set of skill players in the NFL. I highly doubt Brady would want to come back unless the team makes significant improvements on O. I was listening to Curran’s podcast and he talks about this subject. It didn’t just start this year. Brady knew in training camp the skilled players weren’t good enough and it was gonna be tough. Injuries have made it worse. The outlook on O for the foreseeable future is not good.

Stidham suuuuuuuuucks

I'm aware. I meant full season as a starter for Stidham before I started daydreaming about other teams' castoffs.
