I’m just really hoping that the end of this game was legitimately the offense figuring a few things out.

I do believe something was up with the defense tonight too.

The KC game doesn't really matter. We are locked in at 2 regardless. Belichick will crush Josh Allen. That fool will throw bus the ball. Can we catch it???
Yo the division is still up for grabs. Let’s stop talking about a first round bye for the moment.

What happened there?

Almost no questions, likely because of just how freakin bad things were.
Very awkward, even for a BB presser.
BB seeming, to me, to be throwing his defense under the bus (I could have misread this, as the sound sort of got hinky on me there)

Yes, 10-2, but at this point the #1 seed is all but gone because of the tie-breaker, and really the division is at play with KC coming here next week and Buffalo just a game back with a head to head coming up. On both these fronts, though, Buffalo plays the Ravens, so one of them is losing.
I don't think the offense is going to get much better than what we are seeing, and I also think very little of it is on Brady.
But I've learned to never count them out, and hey, they're 10-2 and defending Super Bowl champs, so its only doom and gloom because of the impossibly high bar that has been set.

patsfans.com demands apology from Patriots for being 10-2.

We have constantly made excuses for this offense time and time again, like the fact that Harry was out and the fact that Marshall Newhouse was terrible but tonight, the offense was 100% healthy and were pedestrian for most of the game. #1 seed or not, I have zero confidence they can make it past the divisional round or even win the AFC East. It has been the same piss poor WR play game in and game out. Tom must absolutely be miserable.

Tom Brady was 7-20 at one point, and that was AFTER completing his first 2 passes

This team is basically an unknown even at 10-2. They could easily lose next week. The offense is pretty sad to watch.
I was hoping theyd figure something out but they've been so dysfunctional all season. Last season was the same way but they turned it on. I'm feeling like 4 games left and weve seen no progression. The defense has set up the offense in great field position in half the offensive scores.

How many points has the offense actually scored...

By the way, and for the Harry fans....

That play that ended up in an INT is the sort of play that Harry's supposed to excel at.
Yes, that was very concerning how he got outmuscled for winning that spot for the ball.

Objectively speaking, what do you even do at this point? Your WR corps consists of 2 rookies; an average joe (at best) in Dorsett; Sanu is decent(?); and Edelman. Feels easily defended and lacks any sort of intimidation. Old Watson seems good for 1 good play a game, and the other tight ends are just roster spots. Realistically speaking, this team has a 2013/2015 offense to work with, minus 2015 Gronk.

10-2 after 12 games, really good.

Until you realize the offense is a dumpster fire that cannot get out their own way. Not seeing how this team can beat a legit playoff team with this joke of an offensive.

This team in December playing like this on offense, it’s too late in the season and I doubt things will improve much going forward, we are lacking talent big time on the offense.
The o-line was fine tonight, just the receivers never got open.

McDaniels should be pissed because his offense did not show up for the past month.
Past year?

Bill O'Brien was a due a win vs the master Belichick at some point. I'm just glad it happened in the regular season and not the postseason! Houston will get crushed if there's a rematch in Foxboro in January!

So you are assuming they go 3-0 after KC? This team can very easily lose to Buffalo. Bills defense is legit.

Nothing is all but gone. There are no foregone conclusions yet. Baltimore lost to the Browns. They could lose again. We could go on a losing streak or we could win every remaining game.

I'm not defending what we saw tonight, but this offense was not 100% healthy.

Yeah they were getting over the flu. Pass D was uncharacteristically bad tonight. I thought the run defense was solid.
