We can beat the Ravens by limiting turnovers and running the ball with more effectiveness. Jackson gets in the zone and slowing him down with clock management sucks energy out of the room for the Ravens great offensive scheme.
In our game with the Ravens, we were competitive with a poor offense limited in what it could do in the second half due to injuries. Get Harry up to speed, rely on Senu as much as Edelman, and hammer Michel. If we focus on getting our offense humming, I'm confident we can score points.
On defense, commit more to the run with the safeties on run blitzes. Give up big plays as long as we get them frustrated in the running game and generate some turnovers with some pass blitzes. Just keep throwing the kitchen sink at Jackson and try to generate mistakes rather than worrying about big plays. The WORST thing you can do against the Ravens is allow them to march down the field in a slow, methodical fashion that leaves you exhausted. River boat gambling is how you take down this Goliath.
If the Ravens play their best, they will win. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that they are peaking a little too early and all the hype might get in the way in a game later this season. The way they are acting in interviews suggests they might be starting to drink the Koolaid. I wonder how Jackson does under pressure after a few mistakes.
