Please don't be foolish enough to go down this road. You can't win the argument, it's been done about a billion times now, and I was giving an even-handed answer.
Both drops were because he was hit by the defender. The second one was a potential hospital ball.Thought Meyers, despite a few bad drops, had some nice catches as well.
I didn't say "sky is falling". I pointed out our rookie receivers made lots of mistakes. I am glad we grinded a win.
And a flopper.Dietrich Wise is a punk.

Maybe we should root for a bunch of injuries on defense so we can see what the young guys can really do!

I’m pretty sure @Deus Irae was being sarcastic. Why would we want that? The defense is spectacular.
The WR corps has lower ceiling starters (Dorsett, Sanu) who are more seasoned and backups (Meyers, Harry) who are raw but capable of outperforming the starters in some situations. Harry’s touchdown and Meyers breakaway catch are two plays that don’t happen with Dorsett and Sanu. Yes, the offense was a complete net loss today rolling with those two, I won’t dispute that. But I am concerned this offense will remain incredibly limited without another playmaker like Edelman who defenses need to respect. Dorsett and Sanu are not that guy. It looks like Harry and Meyers are not there at this time either. The Patriots won, the rookies got some valuable playing time, we learned that they both have some big flaws. I have big doubts that either will be breakout in 2019. Normally this receiving corps would be fine with this talent level. The total incompetence at tight end requires a level above “fine” to succeed down the stretch.
Why would we want that?

You were foolish enough to want it for the offense... The ridiculous excuse making for why it's bad for the defensive side, when it was good for the offensive side, is just that.
Edelman was playing hurt. People have talked about Harry and Meyers. Who else would you like to talk about when it comes to drops?
I’m pretty sure @Deus Irae was being sarcastic.
I willed it. Be careful or I’ll injure Gilmore and Van Noy too.
Tell Bedard that critisizing Meyers or Harry gets you declared "insane", "sociopath", "idiot", "garbage" and plenty of other ridicule. They should stay away from there forums if they have that opinion.
No, let's get this cleared up. We know Edeman was injured. We could see him working his arm during the game, and it seemed to impact him on the throw over the middle. That doesn't excuse him not coming down with that pass, but it does offer a bit of insight into some of the "why" of the play. Also, even with that drop, he still had 8 catches on 10 targets. Beyond that, we've seen people talk about Harry (1 catch on 4 targets, and one big drop) and Jakobi (4 catches on 9 targets, multiple drops), and their drops.
Who else should we be calling out about drops? I'm trying to do what you asked:
