Why did Pats not kick a FG on the last play they had the ball instead of throwing it out of bounds. FG should have gotten the lead to 7 pts in case of any shenanigans.

So if it's missed the ball goes close to midfield with a second left. Think. Christ.

Agreed. This was a subpar game for Bailey. I had been actually pumped to see US punt today given the conditions and the Superman act he HS been performing for several weeks now, along with Slater/Bethel. His placement was terrible all game. Either he was pointing them down the middle into the end zone or kicking 32 yards out of bounds at the 30.

Nah, Jones loves the control he has over Garrett more than winning a SB. Hence why he fired many coaches who were better than Garrett in the past. Garrett is the new Marvin Lewis.

Defense saved their butts again. Idk how long they can continue to do this but it would nice if the offense actually rewarded the defense. Still question marks with the offense. Hopefully one of dorsett or sanu comes back next week.

I thought the offense was improved. Brady seemed to have a lot more time in the pocket and Michel got a lot of space to run in. Harry's catch was nice as well and the difference in the game. The weather held this offense back. I expect to see much better things next week.

Pretty sure it's always a 5 second run off on kicks, but the block risk is there.

The refs reset the clock to 5 seconds - and rightfully so - before that 4th down play.

I thought the ball was high in the air when the clock hit :01. Does the clock stop when the ball hits the ground OOB? Or when it crosses the sideline? The former is the college rule.

Best win of the year. Offense looked hindered but liked what I saw from the newbies. Wynn was a win. Defense and special teams kicked ass.

What they should have done is taken a knee on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down - but not as quickly as they did. I mean Brady barely ran off a half a second on 1st and 3rd downs there.

Might have been blocked and run back for TD....only reason

Go back to the Miami game last year...the object is to kill the clock in that situation rather than give Dallas the potential for another play
