The masturbation of Chad Jackson

Not sure if there is a "real" thread about Chad Jackson's interview, but this seems like the closest. I was pretty excited by what he and BB were saying (at least from Reiss's version: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/2007/10/jackson_qa_1.html)

It sound like the maturity issues that were discussed last year have been solved and that he and the team are more ready for his contributions than we might think. I can't wait to see him on the field.

Understatement of the year:

"Randy, I’m kind of playing behind him right now." (Chad Jackson)

Hold your hands out, palms up, please.

That reminds me of the movie The Kentucky Fried Movie and the truth about masturbation one of the funniest scenes ever.

l always keep my hands to myself. So, anyone predicting when Chad will have his breakout game? -

Jackson is yet another weapon. Split him and Moss on opposite sides and throw the deep ball to whoever has least coverage.

And to think we used to think CJ might be TBs best receiver.

...an image I just really didn't need

This it does remind me of the first penis transplant surgery attempt from a few years ago from a poor guy who lost his in an industrial accident.

Though initially the prognosis was good, sadly, his hand rejected it.

He must have been Master of His Domain.

7/10, would be 4/10 but somehow this thread has gone on for 4 pages

Can't have a much better role model and mentor than Randy Moss!

---

Jackson, who played in just 12 games last season, catching 13 passes, indicated Randy Moss had been a special help to him during the past few months.

“Randy has helped me out a lot. All the other receivers help me out a lot. But Randy, I’m kind of playing behind him right now and he’s teaching me a lot with the plays, technique,” Jackson said. “He’s been in the league for a long time, and he’s been teaching me a lot.”

Well he has had a lot of time on his hands....

Didn't this thread have a different title?

It is really great to hear Chad and Randy getting along so well...I think I was so wrong about Randy in the past....Randy is taking him under his wing....We are so strong on both side of the field....

Midway through the offseason I talked about Jackson staying in NE the entire offseason to rehab, workout at gillette and study his playbook. McDaniels was among those I mentioned talking about Jackson's studies/work habits.

Anways, the fallowing excerpt echoes this, and goes into further detail:

Jackson spent the offseason here rehabilitating the torn right anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in the AFC Championship game. He used that time to also be tutored by offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and wide receivers coach Nick Caserio on the playbook

Yes, it really seems as if Randy is lending Chad a hand.
