Gronk toying with us again

One thing that just occurred to me:

If Gronk has been taking the CBD he's been promoting, wouldn't he likely fail an NFL drug screen? Wouldn't that effectively eliminate any likelihood that he'd even consider coming back, let alone that he'd be allowed to play if he did?

Generally CBD is out of the system after 2 weeks...unless your chugging it....then its 3.

At this stage, who cares? He would have to magically gain weight and get into game shape to even be productive. Time to put Gronk to bed for this season.

For a comparison...Kittle is about 250 lbs. Gronk is in that ballpark.

From what I've read, there are CBDs that won't trigger the failed test. I have no idea if his CBD is one of those. I've also read he would have to formally sever ties with the company he's promoting in order to be reinstated.

Chris

Gullible much? Anyone getting annoyed & really thinks he's coming back needs to look at yourself here.

It's been quite apparent he's retired & trying to stay relevant to make money/get his brand going.

I find nothing wrong w that at all.

Guy helped make us the greatest dynasty ever & was the GOAT TE.

Support him or don't but don't blame him bc you're getting suckered into think he's coming back.

More then obvious this has 0 to do w NEP football.
I'm not expecting him to come back, although I'm realizing that he's probably being instructed by a couple dweeb "social media experts" to make posts like that Facebook one. In fact, I doubt Gronk even posted that himself.

I just shrug at this stuff nowadays.

My concern for him is alienating Pats fans by crying wolf a few too many times. Me personally? I don't care because I don't expect him back. But there are a lot of people getting their hopes up and if/when it turns out to be another CBD (or similar) promotion, it could get ugly.

If he did somehow, against all odds, come back...that'd be cool.

That's on them though?

Gronk is retired selling products. If that really bothers some, it's their problem.

The guy took tremendous punishment giving us some of the best moments we'll remember forever. He helped make us the greatest dynasty in the history of the sport. GOAT TE.

I'd bet a lot of money those "fans" jump ship asap when its convenient.

Gronk isn't doing anything shady, illegal or unethical. He's making a living after sports. Absolutely nothing wrong w that or how he's doing. People just like to *****.

gronk says dallas needs a TE

I ignore Gronk and deleted him from my Twitter. He just likes to troll the fans, don’t waste your time on anything Gronk related.

Bottom line this charade will end this week since he has until the 23rd to announce a comeback.

this ride won’t ever end because the entire offseason will be speculation that he’ll come back next year.

He's just creating the maximum hype for whatever product he's going to be promoting next. Pretty lousy to ****tease a fanbase like that but hey ho....

We can put it on the back burner for now though...

Yep, that's a good point. The people who get worked up have the problem they have to deal with, not Gronk. He'll be fine...probably more fine than if he came back.

While he does risk some likeability with the publicity stunts, it's....well...hard for me to even finish this thought because none of it is a big deal.

On to 2019...

Harry made that DB look like Ellis Hobbs.

Oh I know, Taco Tuesday free tacos on Gronk!

This is very likely another attempt to hype up his next project, his last opportunity to do so before time runs out on November 30. If that’s the case, he needs to just go away and stop doing these occasional teases. Post retirement Gronkowski is annoying. He clearly doesn’t understand that Gronk nation exists only if he is on the field. CBD/WWE/game show/work out bottle/“analyst” is tiresome.
