As if getting hit over the head with a helmet isn’t bad enough he gets trucked by another guy twice his size

Pushed from behind. This is one of more bushleague moves in this whole skirmish obviously overlooked because of Garrett’s actions.

He literally beat him with his own helmet in a league that calls for a 15 yard penalty any time you sneeze next to a qb.

Miles Garrett...suspended the rest of the season...mandatory anger management....steroid drug testing...face a panel of professionals before allowed to play in the league again.

Pouncey...suspended from the league and barred from playing again...ever.

This whole thing seemed kinda premeditated. They were headhunting on several occasions throughout the game and the last sequence was just absurd

That was not defense. The guy was already down. That was retaliation. Heat of the moment and all that, but retaliation nonetheless. Got to control yourself.

A guy being down doesn't end the defense. A guy no longer being a threat does that. If you want to argue that the kick that never landed was unnecessary, and that Pouncey should get a game or two, I can at least give that some thought. But, I played sports for a lot of years, and if an opponent had ever pulled a stunt like Garrett did tonight, there damn sure would have been a reckoning.

Vent away, good man. Just vent at Cleveland. Don't forget that, beyond the Garrett incident, there was that blatant, multiple step, blow to the head that took out another Steelers player.

Pouncey is a good dude. A former Patriots tight end (now deceased) hung out with him and vouched for him.

The McSorley hit in hockey is the closest I can remember to this one. That and Billy Madison in high school attacking a guy with his skate.

I do NOT trust Goondell and the league to act appropriately....this is the same division they allowed that Bengal psychopath, Burfict to play in for 5 years

What's funny to me is that this really was a whole lot of nothing, yet you're playing up Pouncey's action as if it was an assassination attempt. Compare this back to the days before hockey turned into speed skating with pucks, and imagine how this would have played out if a team like the Bruins had seen this sort of thing happen to their goalie.

Don't contribute to the ****ification of the U.S..
