Kaepernick to get an all 32 team workout in Atlanta

I’ll try this one.

Yes, CK is probably “better” than some of the backups in the League, so I’ll concede that he most likely is “among the top 60-64”. I’ll also accept the premise that teams are more open to mobile QBs since he’s been away. Finally, despite an amazing D leading the way, “yes” this QB lead his team to the big game and they had a legit shot at winning the SB.

Having said that :
(1) He isn’t good enough to be the difference
(2) He is not accurate enough
(3) As backup, for instance, all the media would want to talk about (to everyone on the team) is CK. The backup.
(4) If he was a good as Mahomes or Wilson, he’d have a job. This League is about winning
(5) If you lose your starter, you aren’t winning the SB. Why get a win or two more w CK ? Better off getting better picks and resetting next season when the starter returns.

I don’t care about his politics. He isn’t “good enough to be worth the circus”. I’m not sure he ranks as a top 45 QB. Why bother ?

he last played in 2016. 2015 and 2016 he stunk. im not sure he's in the top 64QB

NFL arranges workout for Colin Kaepernick in Atlanta

"The NFL has arranged a private workout for Colin Kaepernick this Saturday in Atlanta that all 32 teams are welcome to attend, according to a memo obtained Tuesday by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport."

"Kaepernick's workout will include on-field work and an interview. Video of the workout and interview will be made available to all 32 teams, as well."
It’s clear this is all a show so the NFL won’t look bad. I’m shaking my head about this. It’s not necessary to make special arrangements for this player that was a back up for 2 years

In my opinion, this isn’t right.

Hope he gets signed so both sides can stop talking about this. Would like to see him do well.

Good for him. Hope he gets a job and heads explode.
You want him to get a job so “heads explode”?

Maybe try an intelligent comment?

TB Helmut disagrees but he doesn’t know why:rolleyes:

They had to settle lol, clearly there was something going on there.

Agreed. But in order to make my main point, I conceded that “even if”...

settling a case rarely infers wrong doing. Most often it’s to save money and keep negativity out of the news

My company often settles cases for the same reasons. Why fight a battle that costs millions and lasts years with all the negative (perceived) press that goes along with it.

I know some view everything from a “left vs right” perspective but CK has nothing to do with that. The only question NFL teams need to answer is “does he make my TEAM better?”

That shouldn’t be confusing to anyone.

According to reports, the settlement amount was a pittance. That means that it was probably more about the league just considering it a nuisance suit do be bought off than about the league worrying about losing the case. And Kaepernick is now a 32 year old QB who's game is all about speed and quickness, who was bad before he left the game, and who's likely to be worse now. I wouldn't sign him as even a 6th string QB.

The teams that make some small amount of sense for him, such as the Ravens and Cardinals, have had the chance to bring him in and/or sign him before this.

NFL, not Colin Kaepernick, arranged Saturday workout

... PFT has confirmed that Kaepernick didn’t even know about the workout until it was scheduled. Kaepernick’s representatives initially expressed concern that it was or could be a P.R. stunt. Confusion also was expressed regarding the league’s reason(s) for setting up the workout, especially since the league previously has taken the position that it does not get involved in the potential employment of specific players...

Something here smells like weeks old dead fish.

Who is Andy Johnson?
Who is AndyJohnson? I think it's best answered by Albert Einstein who once said of AndyJohnson,"the only reason for AndyJohnson is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.”

Disrespecting the flag and anthem has resulted in CK getting an entire sports network as his pro bono PR firm, and he becomes the first player in history whom the NFL forces teams to try out. What a time we live in.

Guy is a freaking traitor and a pariah....wouldn’t want him near my team if I’m an owner or player

This is my issue. People are treating Kaep like he ****ed their wives.

Kaep is probably a bad player now, but people need to stop getting so mad over him kneeling. Its fine if you dont like it and like Kaep you deserve your freedom of speech. However the Colin haters just sound emotional to me.

Guy is such a fraud. The whole thing is a dog and pony show to keep his name out there. He doesn’t want to play unless a starting job is handed to him and that will not happen. Funny he has no problem taking Nike’s sweatshop money.
