Yeah, I love the kid. I definitely think Brissett has a place in the NFL, I just think Jimmy G is better. I mean, did you see how even Bill didn't want to let him go?

This season is really illustrating how valuable good kickers are.

In todays NFL having a kicker you feel you can REALLY count on is arguably worth 7.5M a year. The difference in points a game they give you is fairly substantial for what they cost.

I'd pay 7.5M for Justin Tucker. That one signing would add 4-5 more PPG. Those guys are just that valuable with so many kickers missing easy FGs and extra points and costing games.

Not to mention the confidence to go for that 55 yarder instead of punting or having to force a risking 4th and 7 or something.
