Big fan of Josh here, but he just too big and too slow and he can't create separation consistently. On to Baltimore.

I'm not sure JAG is the correct term for Gordon.

If it weren't for missed meetings, past issues, risk of suspension, and overall poor attitude, teams would be fighting for him at this salary even considering recent production.
Why?

He's been hurt.

Do people think he was cut because of not creating separation?

He was cut because he just wasn't worth the tremendous risk anymore.

Gordon was no longer elite, but he was far from a JAG.

Josh's numbers are in the same ballpark as the Kenny Stills', Robbie Andersons, and Dionte Thompsons of the world. Those guys are all JAGs.

I think its a combination. If Gordon was showing signs of non-dependability but is producing as 2013 gordon, or even as last years gordon does Bill put up with his antics? probably because they help the team win.

But when a player is going awol, missing meetings and not putting in the work...but playing like a JAG I think it makes the decision easier for Bill.

Brady didnt seem to gush about Gordon after his IR stint as he did when Ben watson was released. SO he may have been getting tired of it as well.

Jimmy Garoppolo is doing just fine. But he thanks you for the wishes. It's thoughtful.

Garoppolo?! What does he have to do with Gordon's well being?
Oh I see, you were trying to make funny there. ha. ha. ha.

Anyway, before this thread was re-titled and after, I'll continue to root for Gordon to get his life straightened out and is of most importance, football at this point is secondary. If he can maintain both, God Bless.

He's going to light it up in Seattle and I'm ok with that. Something changed and he just wasn't showing something on the field, dunno what it was.

I just don't think this was the right system for him now.

If Sanu can grasp the offense, if Harry can contribute then we still have a solid WR corps. If not it's gonna be a low scoring rest of the year.

If the Kenny Stills', Robbie Andersons, and Dionte Thompsons of the world had Josh's baggage, they would have been out of the league long ago.

If they had one all-world season 6 years ago that they were still living off of who knows?

Pasted this in above, the spaces disappear.
Looks like crap
Here it is again,

Sanders I remembered was 2014-16
Numbers since have been about half that
If that guy is reborn, like Moss was in NE?
No contest

2019 numbers are close
My bias is wanting reliable 3rd down relief for Edelman,
so he survives to the post season. Must.

"Hey Fred..do you think we should have kept Gordon?"

"Something happened, so no."

We have so many better options than Josh with our WR and TE crew. Offense is humming now that we released him.

Fred usually hears some things.

What does this mean?
He works for the teams website and he’s been there for 20+ years. He obviously can’t report things that go on but he will usually drop hints or vague statements that will lead you to believe he has heard something from someone in the know.

Josh had to pass through a lot of very needy teams to make it to the Seahawks.. so either the NFL is truly a copy cat team, or all those crappy or mediocre teams that passed saw some issues with him.
