TE Eric Tomlinson released UPDATE: Not cut; OL Aaron Monteiro to PS

Monteiro spent camp with Miami, cut at cut downs. Hasn’t been on a practice squad since. Interesting choice to replace Skipper, let’s see how it goes.

But but...

EDIT: To be fair, I suppose no corresponding roster move has been made for Harry as yet.

Harsh to only get one week to prove yourself, but he really did nothing in the game that forced this into a hard decision. My guess is Izzo will be back this week and it's him and Watson holding down TE for the near future.

When I viewed the forum, "TE Eric
Tomlinson had a good game" was the thread immediately above this one. :D

Shows who watched the game with blinders on glad BB saw him live.

I disagree with the central premise. Given the composition of this roster, I see no reason why 7 WRs is outlandish.

IIRC, we burned one of our "returnable IR" last year, so it's not like it's unprecedent

I would be very sad tho, if Harry doesnt come back

burned for who?

burned for who?
I don’t know if it happened last year. A few years back they started practicing Shea McClellin and his concussion symptoms returned, so he was shut down for the year.

I think he’s recalling McClellan from a few years ago. Time flies.

Our very first IR to return was on Visante Shecoth or whoever that TE was that passed through. Before the rule change, he was designated but never was able to return, if I am not mistaken.

Think team still moves on from Bennett and can still cut another garbage TE, or Gunner gets the boot with bolden doing PRs.

but that was not last year.

Moving on from Bennett makes no sense which is why they won't do it.

************.

Gun is 9th in ave PR yards in the entire league and averages 13 ST snaps a game. He isn't going anywhere.

Who are the 7 WRs this moron is counting?

JE
Josh
Sanu
Meyers
Dorsett

Slater is not a WR
Gun is emergency only

EDIT: Apparently I'm also a moron as I once again forgot Harry but I count 6 WRs they will really be using.

To Trollin's point they will have a decision to make if they do move forward and activate Harry. maybe Izzo or LaCosse go to IR?

Hopefully he Googles your post and learns a little about the team he’s covering.

I am making fun of Volin myself here, for how.. certain he appeared to be/always is in his opinions and the little what-if knife-twists he seems to insert in many of them. (Oh no the Patriots could be cutting Gordon)

Still, I try very hard to be fair to see other people's points. By 7, Volin is including Harry himself, so he's obviously not counting somebody on that list. Slater, I'm guessing.
