TE Eric Tomlinson released UPDATE: Not cut; OL Aaron Monteiro to PS

I hope Tomlinson sticks around a bit. He totally whiffed on a couple of blocks in the first half vs. the Jets, but I thought he was decent in the second half. Considering the hectic nature of his first week, playing that many snaps could not have been easy.

Still, I 'd guess someone in the trio of Izzo, LaCosse, and Tomlinson has to go next week. For injury-proneness (this year anyway) I'd lean toward dumping LaCosse.

This Pats homer had great hopes for LaCosse this season but I'm at the toss in the towel mode over his continued inability to stay on the game field. Tomlinson it is.

Gonna trust into what BB sees in the player over how he has looked hobbled so far. Might end up not working out, might still end up a big contributor.

We picked up Sanu too. He's an upgrade over whatever Gordon has become.

And the JAG TE is only holding a spot for when Harry/Wynn comes back.

And there's possibily another move in the works.
