As if we needed more confirmation:

Da Jete SUCK !!!

They’ve had a few damn good defenses over the years. But so far this one has been the one I’ve been dreaming about my entire Pats fandom. Ultra aggressive and great at stopping the run as well as being top tier in coverage.

I always had a special admiration for some of those great defenses of the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s. we’ll get to see if they can join them over the meat of the schedule in the coming weeks. I think they will, great defenses destroy terrible teams and thats what they’ve done.

M-V-D!
M-V-D!

Does anyone know if KVN picked a design for the Boogeymen shirts. If so where do you get them. Asking for a friend

Was it as good for you as it was for me?

The defenses asked for a name

The Ghost Gang

Anybody saying the bears d is better is a clown at this point
Pats don’t have the dominant pass rusher but the Bears don’t have a dominant CB. Pats get the edge due to their secondary, and who’s calling the D.

Darnold : why do people love him ?

The league has a problem in that they just haven't had a big bunch of quality QBs come in to carry the next generation.

You had Brady, Peyton, Eli, Big Ben, Rivers, Rodgers, Brees all playing and playing well for most of the last 10 years.

As far as young QBs who is elite? You've got Mahomes. Who else is elite and young? Maybe Jackson? Watson looked like he might be a few years ago but has regressed. Wilson is a solid starter but not elite.

The QB crop last season was supposed to give them another 2004 and it didn't. And media, who are always looking for the next thing to write about, are forced to try to jump the gun in anointing anyone who can string together a good game here or there as the next big thing.

I'm probably forgetting a name or three but I think it's fair to say that the level of QB talent coming out of college has significantly dropped.

Honestly I don't know who is going to even challenge Mahomes as the best QB of the next 10 years. Maybe Watson. I don't believe in Lamar. Hell, Mahomes might get banged up too much and even he might not be able to deliver on his MVP season again.

With this D and TB at QB, good things can happen

This game would have been much worse for the Jets if they didn't have the best QB in the AFCE.

Seriously though, I'm grateful that the Pats found a way to slow down the reigning AFC Offensive Player of the Week. That was a tough ask.

Here's the thing. As Brady ages he has learned insight into what it's like for us old folk. No more close cardiac stress games. No, instead we have these relaxing games with no rise in blood pressure. Thanks, Tommy Boy. Us old coots appreciate it.
AND all those years I was afraid of the Boogeyman. No more.

Meyers 13 receptions 15 targets 2 holds looking like Mitchell 2.0. When the OL is fine the offense is fine.

Pending what they do at the trade deadline and the return of Wynn & Harry it's tough to see a loss out there
