Where's **** Butkus? Any roundtable of LB greats is incomplete without him. You’re missing out. There wasn’t much of him there anyway.

That's a good reason not to watch the damn thing -- excluding the GREATEST linebacker in NFL history because of his race. Screw them. There’s a race discussion as part of this on how certain positions in the game was reserved for the thinking person aka the white male. My guess this is why he’s not included.

My main point on this is the video is billed with the NFL 100 years pr0mo logo. Besides being the best middle linebacker ever to play the game, **** Butkus also was coached by the man who INVENTED the NFL -- George Halas. Who better to be included in a discussion by the all-time greats? If they want to talk about perceived racism that might best be reserved for its own forum. Even then, I'm sure Butkus would have some valuable perspective to add on that issue.Screw merit and qualifications. Race comes first. See Harvard and the Asian kids
How many Bears middle linebackers are you going to have on the show? It was already weird enough there were two Giants, although they at least played different positions. My main point on this is the video is billed with the NFL 100 years pr0mo logo. Butkus is a Hall of Famer and all-pro superstar who played on bad teams. He was better than anyone on that panel. Aside from that, what difference does it make having more than one guy from the same team? Hell, for that matter Brian Urlacher should be on the panel as well. How many Bears middle linebackers are you going to have on the show? We can agree to disagree on Butkus (who redefined the position for the modern era) being the GOAT. And I doubt Carson and BB could be objective on the matter.No. Lawrence Taylor was better than anyone on that panel, and **** Butkus and Brian Urlacher too. Don't believe me? Ask Harry Carson and Bill Belichick.
No.

Privileged to have been able to see Taylor play. Tippett was something else too. Not quite LT but a AFC elite. Tippett played on some good teams but nothing like that Giants line.
One of my non Patriot favorites was Lions lb Chris Spielman. Just a tackling machine long before Kuechly. Not one of the greatest of all time but definitely one of my favs.
