The Football Ousiders' great Word of Muth column has the Jets as one of their featured offensive lines. Ben Muth was an OL at Stanford I think and every season he picks three OLs to focus on. This year, for some reason he chose the Jets. He analyzed Game 2 of the Jets and it's high comedy. Muth cannot figure out what's supposed to happen on many plays as no one appears to be on the same page as one another. Lots of great gifs of OL running away from blocks like this:

I mean, they’ve watched their team suck year after year, having to endure the Buttfumble, Rich Kotite, crying Rex Ryan and his big mouth foot fetish, QB play that would make a junior high coach shudder, horrible ownership & PSLs, the best coach of the modern era resigning on a napkin and then leading your main rival to 6 SBs, the best player they’ve ever drafted winning his only championship with the same rival.

Then this year, with a glimmer of hope in their eyes, their so called saviour gets mono, their new crazy-eyes head coach sucks worse then even we thought, and their season is over after week 3. Brings a smile to my face!

I don't know about that, it would be hard for Googly Gaze to suck more than the me part of we thinks he sucks. Even back when he was peeing down his leg in Miami I was saying "This guy sucks so bad he should be coaching the Jete" I mean, if you suck bad enough to be the perfect fit to coach the Jete how much worse could you get?

Not only is that picture awesome, but seeing that it's Edelman posting it also gives me a better feeling about his availability next week vs the Worst 3-0 Team in NFL History.

The Jets have now scored 33 points on the season. 21 of them have been on completely unforced errors. The Pick Six and Muffed Punt from yesterday, and this Pick Six from the Buffalo Game.



Those Pick Sixes aren't superlative defensive plays, they're balls just winding up in the laps of defenders with open field in front of them.

The other scores are a safety vs. Buffalo, and then two proper drives resulting in a TD and FG. Two drives in three games. Yikes.

I do not know if they'd beat Miami right now.
