OK, I hear ya. That's at least CLOSER to the unbelievable turn of events that Butler's interception out of nowhere was. Hightower's great play with the Pats still down 16 was great, but really not in the top five.

I was praying on my knees when Vinny hit that field goal to change forever the stamp of the New England Patriots from never beens to champions.

I had already given up all hope when the Seahawks had 2nd and goal.

Also, I don’t understand why you feel the need to slam our fan base or attendance, as we ranked 17th on average home game attendance last year: 2018 NFL Football Attendance - National Football League - ESPN

And FYI those rankings are with those pesky tarps removed we removed them as of 2018.

we have some fans who are fickle and tired of the losing lately as evidenced by weak attendance last night; but we have a nice core fan base in Jax who do care about the team and don’t just “yawn”. You also gotta remember we agreed to host the FL-GA game there every year, so the stadium was built slightly above market demand just for that one game

That's great and I applaud those Jax fans who are into it. Nice core base. That used to describe us before Kraft bought the team. "Rioting in the streets of Jacksonville" however would be reserved for their favorite league - - college football.

Meh, TV ratings for Jags games often outpace college games. That’s the issue really, is getting those fence sitters out of the house and into the stadium. Here are my favorite excuses I’ve heard:

- Too hot
- Too cold (yes in December we go into the 40s and Floridians panic)
- Too expensive
- Too crowded
- I won’t go unless they sign [insert Florida Gator player here]

Hopefully if we build a winning franchise someday we can build the core up further.

On the dis-believer side: Has any QB ever lost a game when their defense got 9 sacks?

Poor Jamil Douglas, the RG of the Titties (and for a cup of coffee on their PS, the Pats) last night...He allowed almost half of Jax's sacks all by himself, including those by Campbell...A couple of them were kinda comical-looking too.

I mean sure in theory you could lose if you defense got 9 sacks. Hey maybe you got sacked 10 times .

But I have to think the odds of winning are pretty good if your defense gets 9 sacks.

The real test is when the rest of the league has caught up and has enough tape on him. Does he then evolve, or get figured out and become lost in the dust of would-have's or has-been's.
