Big Ben out for season

Mason Rudolph is a gamer I liked him coming out the draft and Gilmore was asked that year who was his favorite QB and he mentioned he liked Rudolph's arm and upside.
Gilmore and Rudolph were from the same town (Rock Hill, SC)

Whether it be through injuries or decline in play, age 36-39 is when it’s likely over for most QBs.

Age 37 Roethlisberger - IR
Age 37 Rivers - arm strength going
Age 38 Manning - been done for years
Age 40 Brees - playing well, uncommon injury

& then there is one

No

Brees passing arm went south late last season. He was lighting teams up early in the season and then got tired just like Mannings first season in Denver.

Sucks man. The league is better when everyone is 100%. I wish football players were indestructible....

Rush says its the same injury that did Bradshaw in at 35 years old.

Evidently, Bradshaw bought a Myna bird to help rehab because they are supposed to be good luck.

Mynas

Thats the bird Bradshaw had.

It can be a long recovery , I had a elbow (tendon) surgery in May 2018 that just now I feel 100%. First months the area was still very sensitive about pain and even when I started working out again I felt my triceps very weak for months.

Well, here we go... Now Big Ben can claim that he only lost to the Patriots because of his elbow.

They were a team trending down even with him healthy, so this just gives them an excuse for sucking.

Maybe if Big Ben didn't eat so many Big Burgers...

Who knows? Maybe Rudolph will be their blessing? He didn’t look terrible and did some things well. Couple of poor picks but has a lot of room to improve.

Not gonna cheer the injury, only one I guffawed at was Pollard’s. However, don’t like Ben so he isn’t getting a whole lot of sympathy here either. Besides his legal issues, just heard too many rumors that the guy is a jerk, enough to believe there might be something to them.

Not gonna celebrate the fact the guy is out for the season. Will never cheer an injury to an opponent. That said, it appears an era has ended in Pittsburgh.

Not surprised. Ben R. is not someone who's known for taking care of himself or his body.

Dikembe was right--no more Cheeseburger!
