Cunningham played horrible. Newhouse was at least mediocre.
I stopped paying attention halfway, but didnt Newhouse allowed more sacks than Cunningham?

Cannon should be back soon at least...

I think it's safe to say, going back to the SB against a very good offensive Rams team, that BB has found something with the defense that obviously works well. This isn't an anomaly anymore. 3 straight without surrendering a TD.
It's definitely not an anomaly. I can't wait to see it at work against the Chiefs, Chargers and any other high-octane offense (I can't think of the schedule at the moment). Eagles should be another good test too.

The offense played as well as they could given the loss of both tackles. Still some work left for Brown which is only natural after only 3 practices. Lets see if the NFL lets him or if he ends up on the exempt list next week.

The defense played awesome. Yeah there were some drops from the Dolphins on potential big gains but to be honest I am happy about that. Good for BB to have "anything" to show on tape in terms of letting up focus.

Ghost needs to do some extra shifts but at least one of the two XPs were due to Bailey screwing up the pace of everything. The FG was just a straight miss. Whatever, lets see where this goes over the first 8 games. Absolutely silly to say something based on one game. Especially one that happened in the heat of Miami.

Good start into the season. Now lets hope Wynn will be fine and we get Cannon back soon.

BB post-game press conference:

Media: How did the guys receive AB in the locker room today?

BB: We're on to the Jets.

Media: Seriously, are you really 'on to the Jets'? I mean, it's the Jets.

BB: You may have got me there.

Cowher on CBS doing his best to convince everyone that BUF can potentially upset NE when they play. Meanwhile, we play the Jets next week, not BUF. LOL

Very nice assessment, Luuked.

I was trying to figure out why Brady was throwing the ball in the 4th, when I realized that Pats ran just 1 offensive play in that 4th quarter. AND every rep is a teaching tool. They needed the reps. Simple as that.

Everyone knows what time it is!

Time for LOBSTAH & BUTTAH!!!

Cunningham and Newhouse didn't completely suck and deserve some credit for being as effective as they were. HOWEVER they need to get Wynn and Cannon back.

If you fumble when you run...

Most relaxed I have been for a game...in my life I think

I think we can put an end to the "It was because it was Flores, and not Patricia" stuff about the defensive improvement we've been seeing for 1+ years now.

Defense looks very good but I would like to see the pass-rush come alive a bit more. Nitpicking, though. Secondary and LBs are unreal. Think the pass rush will improve from “good” to “great” with time.

Offense also looks great outside of the OL and blocking at the TE position.

Slightly concerned about the running game. Need to get Watson back after week 4, get LaCosse blocking well, and figure out the OL situation. There’s time to figure it out but they’ll need to get guys run blocking better and get healthy.

Newhouse and Cunningham need to not skip leg day and hit the hills. Top heavy and seemingly in really poor condition. Fingers crossed for Wynn.

Otherwise this team is scary good.
