On to Miami!

James White traveled to Miami. So maybe he plays after all.

This isn't always the case. Players travel and dress who don't play.

Personally I will go with Lombardi over whatever anyone here has to say when it comes to stuff like that. The Pats rarely do that, that much we know.

My concern for tomorrow is the weather, 90 degrees, 75 dew point.. while these guys practiced in similar weather during TC, always a concern in the Hard Rock Stadium..
I've always thought that it is harder to go down to Miami at the end of the season when the difference in temperature between south Florida and Massachusetts is extreme. Though it might be hotter in Miami in September than in December, the players, as you note, have been used to dealing with heat.

LaCosse dressed, did not play just last week, Etling traveled all year last year.

Not surprising. But given the lack of actual moves I think the team is pretty confident he will be back really soon.

I missed the part where last week's game was an away game they had to travel to.

Hope so, but there is insufficient data to support this. Leaving injured players home is different. Every game there are healthy inactives right?

And there usually are players who are gametime decisions or sometimes pull something during warm up. Of course you don't just travel with your game day actives. But that doesn't contradict what Lombardi said at all. If there was no plan for Brown he would have stayed home.

Cannot wait to see what LaCosse brings to the table. He's beginning to remind me of Jacob Hollister the little engine that couldn't.

Point still stands.

No it doesn't really. At all.

If you think your developmental QB traveling with the team is proof of anything but him just getting additional mental reps and taking notes then I think you have not been around here for more than a year or so.

What’s the difference between AB and all the other inactives? Every away game Bill takes guys who don’t play.

Would love to see a running game in this game. I don’t want us to lose that identity despite having a very good wr unit. Also a pass rush. The dolphins OL is just decimated. This would be a good game for Michael Bennett and other pass rushers on this team.

The fact that he only had 3 practice sessions with the team and there being enough WR depth without him anyway. If there was not a vertical slice of plays planned for him he'd stay at home.

I doesn't get more disingenuous than that. Have you read your link ?

Someone ask him about Gordon traveling to Detroit last year

He was limited all week in practice with a hamstring injury and had officially been listed as questionable, giving him 50-50 odds of playing.

If he was healthy he would have played. We are talking about healthy scratches.
