He just wanted to pick his QB

07 failed because it depended too much on Moss and didn't have a respected running game.

They have much more diversity now.

Say what you want about Spags today but he came up with a great gameplan and like Rex in 2010, they outcoached BB.

It happens. Besides, TB's high anke sprain was the real issue.

The reason why great WR's don't win is bad coaching that depends on the WR's being great not great gameplans.

By every right, Julio Jones should be a SB champion. Look what happened after Shanahan left their offense.

Is it really out of the realm of possibilities that the Patriots had a contract waiting for AB just in case he was released? These babies need a week to calm down. This situation isn’t hard to figure out. Also, Rosenhaus has a great relationship with the Patriots.
not only plausible but likely in my opinion. I would hope other teams would have also thought through the math.

Plus Bill talked with the Steelers back when this was going down. Word is Bill was going to give Steelers a first. That is another overlooked thing. Instead of a first, we get him for no draft picks.

Was looking for a thread for this and was surprised one wasn’t already up. I don’t know how to post polls so just throwing it out here.

He did have a good game plan. He also had the pass rushers to execute it. Shut down Moss. Let Welker beat you. Didn't happen.

I don't think Brady's ankle was the issue.

Look at Moss stats before and after week 9 in 07. Very average. Teams caught up because NE became one dimentional

I thought this was fake news but I guess we got him. Honestly, I do not like brown but if he catches 20 touchdowns for us, I’ll get over it

Yes
I can agree with that.
You say you agree with this, "0% chance he ruins team chemistry", but you just posted 50/50 he ruins team chemistry.

He will play great and the pats will get a 3rd round pick in 2021

what's the over/under about?

The NFL does not want what happens in the NBA to happen in this league, e.g. Anthony Davis demanding a trade from the Pelicans and forcing his way out of town. What makes the NFL great is that so many teams have a legitimate team to compete for the SB every year. If this bs is allowed to go on with star players gaming their way out of a non preferred team, the NFL will become like the NBA. A few superteams and no one else with any chance at all for SB

I think we are already there in the AFC. Super Bowl representatives since 2000:

Patriots 9
Steelers 3
Broncos 2
Colts 2
Ravens 2
Raiders 1
Titans 1

plus, we got the 4 point lead and we had a tough D and they had freaking Eli. Tyree catch aside, that alone should have won the thing. Both Giants SB losses should woulda coulda been wins. The Eagles loss the D was so historically awful that it is hard to put it in same we "had it" category.

I know, we won a couple we could have lost (49 51) but still that is how I feel.
