07 failed because it depended too much on Moss and didn't have a respected running game.

They have much more diversity now.

Hows Chiefs planet today ;)

Agree though, that 07 team was unreal until teams could get to brady, which as we know they eventually worked it out and execute their plans. Whereas this team could and more than likely will morph into whatever it needs to do to win.

You're on. I choose:

"World Central Kitchen, set up by the chef José Andrés, provides food to people after natural disasters. Mr. Andrés and a relief team have arrived in Nassau, the capital, and have begun to identify places where they can set up kitchens on the affected islands."

Ok, we're on. Remind me tonight if I don't get back to this.

Ha. Don't know. I'll check in over there tonight.

Which player has the better chance of clearing waivers and ending up on Patriots Practice squad......Meyers or Gunner?

Not going to do anything with either. It'll be likely a vet who doesn't have to go through waivers. Either way, nothing will happen until tomorrow, prior to 4pm.

That is, if the league approves the contract.

Also, playing Devil’s advocate, this offense is pretty tough to learn. It’s not like we can plug Brown in and by next Sunday he’s an expert at it. BUT, I’m guessing by his 4th game, he’ll probably be effective. By the 2nd half of the season, as long as he’s not Ochocinco dumb, he’ll be a dangerous weapon.

I guarantee you he will be quite effective right off the bat. His football IQ is really up there. Like any other great receivers, he has watched and studied Brady for years.

If anyone is still doubting AB's football IQ, these clips should get them excited. Here Brown shows he has the ability to read the defense and reacts. Watch how he sits in zone- the space he finds is uncanny. Only Edelman has the ability to do this better. This is something Cooks couldn't do if a gun was put to his head:

ABs football IQ is not to be questioned. Just an elite football mind.

His common sense and self-awarness gauge are.

We'll find out soon enough- if we never hear from him again for the rest of this season, then we know the drama with the Raiders was staged. If he continues the drama, then his mental health issues are truly a cause for concern.

While my opinion of him as a person hasn't changed ( he's still a narcissistic diva), I do think he was trying to shoot his way out of town. Just like Moss did in 06 but with much less style.

Part of me wonders of Mayock called his buddy BB last week and tried to work out a trade and Gruden said no.

88% We are f*cked, God hates us, Patriots cheating again.

12% We still got this. Our WRs and RBs are still better. We’ll just outscore them.

Unsurprisingly that is pretty much spot on.

had a weird dream last night that the Raiders cut AB and the Pats immediately scooped him up. Imagine Brady throwing to AB, Jules, Gordon, and thomas? Would be crazy...

I think calling him both an elite-level wr talent and a narcissistic diva are both irrefutably obvious.

Let’s hope the narcissism doesn’t become malignant, as this personality type often does.

There’s gnashing of the teeth across the country. It seems to fall into three categories: 1) oh great, just hand the Patriots a new trophy, 2) that this move will cause the downfall of the team. See Jason Whitlock’s Twitter. He admits he’d take a “wait and see” approach if his Chiefs had signed him. Lots of people would be considering the Chiefs brilliant if they had signed AB. 3) The evil Belichick and the old charge resurfaces. The Patriots cheated by having illegal communications with Drew Rosenhaus.

Hand over the flip phone, Bill.

When there’s nothing there the conspiracy buffs will come out, saying he used his son’s iPhone. The more we win, the more entrenched the jealous grumblers will become across the country. 2007 all over again.

The only cheating that year was when the Giants OL got away with obvious hands to the face against Seymour and Wolfork on the winning TD pass.
