Also, playing Devil’s advocate, this offense is pretty tough to learn. It’s not like we can plug Brown in and by next Sunday he’s an expert at it. BUT, I’m guessing by his 4th game, he’ll probably be effective. By the 2nd half of the season, as long as he’s not Ochocinco dumb, he’ll be a dangerous weapon.

There's dumb then there's football dumb. Brown doesn't strike me as football dumb.

After wading through the cesspool of PFT's comments I discovered the Pats are a classless organization with no soul.
Plus Pats are going to be punished by the league for their obvious tampering.

The only reason why I'm cautiously not bummed with this move is that I assume Belichick is taking absolutely no **** from him, and is making that abundantly clear from the get-go. Because he's proven to be a give-an-inch-take-a-mile guy, so I really think the only way he's worth having around is if he knows he's on thin ice and actually cares (and I'm not totally convinced he does care).

As long as the Pats are ready to cut his ass the moment he steps one toe out of line, and there's no real significant investment impeding their ability to do that, the upside is enough to make me shrug and say "sure, it could work out enough to be worth the headache"

I have a feeling he is going to be behave totally professional, shockingly
