1) The JETE aka Jest aka "Jets" originally took their name from West Side Story
2) To mock the JETE, I suggested that they update their image with a more current musical, Hamilton, and call themselves the Hams
3) This spurred recollections of Sugar Bear Hamilton, and a suggestion that we re-write the original as a beef between Sugar Bear and Ben Dreith

The Hamilton riff has deep roots in mocking the JETE, and counts as an extended sidebar. What it is not is an adjunct to a war about a logo (on which the other side of I am on. Goddammit still ended that parenthetical with a preposition.)
