He is?Good for him, he's better than a bunch of QB's in this league. Although how old is he to be getting 3 years? I know in the NFL 3 years doesn't always mean 3 years.

That was before Mcdaniels spurned themWhy’s that? Didn’t we trade Brissett for Dorset when the feelings were more raw?
.
The Brissett/Dorsett trade came before the whole Josh debacle. Even Ballard said the rivalry is back on.
the rivalry is back on.
I'm sure there is more to it but Ballard is being kind of childish here. BB and Krafty did their best to keep Josh and he made the decision to stay. It wasn't like they maliciously tried to screw over the Dolts (but the benefit is oh so good). That was before Mcdaniels spurned them
Their GM said that trade is actually want mended the fences then Mcdaniels knocked the fence down with a giant hammer.
They whole Colts org is on opiates.Indy's results VS pats since 2010

The beef is with Josh- not BB.
I think it's more of Irsay being his typical moronic self and Ballard towing the company line.
Simple. How come we weren't able to trade him if he's receiving a 3yr $12m deal with $9m in guarantees.
Clearly Ballard was embarrassed by Josh. However he is a moron for not having a signed contract in place before having a press conference. Idiot. That's an interesting take ... I wouldn't put it past Irsay.
I suspect he'll be starting at some point
Hes a big dudeAfter game 2
Brisett should be at Fullback
Good for him.
Simple.
The NFL trade is a lost art.
Most NFL front office personnel do not know how to accomplish a trade and I mean all of them.
Two or three actually happened this year which was shocking. But with the increasing value of every Draft pick as "wampum", it's not like the glory days of the NFL where trades were exciting and game changers.
Now it's "how many picks you gonna give me".
The MLB still holds some intrigue with the trade deadline.
NFL GM's forfeit another venue to make their Teams better by ignoring straight player trades. NFL GM's grade on trades......"F".
Clowney to the Skins for Trent Williams would have been a better trade partner for BOB. Instead they got fleeced. Then Flores zapped him big time.
Why? The Belichick Theorem. So and so Team are going to get me like the Pats do. The Pats took Gerri Green from the Colts. Yes he was a waiver wire FA, but they could have made that simple trade Sat. They could have lost him. Just sayin....

I've been saying there was never going to be a trade with the Colts. Looks like BB did Hoyer a favor by releasing him knowing the Colts were very interested. Sure Patriots were also interested, but like so many other times, they wouldn't compete. And so....my ignominy is compete.
.......And now comes the ANGER! WTF, Bill? If you knew that you were going to cut Hoyer, WHY in God's name didn't you try and get at least SOME value for him. You mean to tell me you couldn't have gotten at least a 5th or 6th rounder. Christ, you paid that much for 2 fatties that would have been cut if you hadn't grabbed them. You're telling me that a QB to a needy team like the Colts wouldn't have gotten you MORE.
Sorry but while we owe Bill a LOT for the last 20 years, occasionally even he makes mistakes, and in the great scheme of things this isn't even a big one. Just seems like a waste to me.
