Don't be overwhelmed. All the changes are on the OL. Andrews OUT. Froholdt OUT. Skipper OUT. And we add the three new players as backups.

The outstanding questions are whether we will have any more signings; and also whether we keep a 9th utility OL while the new players learn the system.

I suspect that we need to keep Croston for a couple of weeks, while the new players learn the system. It seems a reach for them to be expected to be the 2 Game Day backups against the steelers.

Unless you think they were going to cut Kelly (it's not something I'd bothered to follow, or even look into), the Colts original plan was to keep 3 QBs on the roster (Luck/Brissett/Kelly).

I think the difference is keeping a young QB with lots of upside as a third QB vs. the idea of keeping an old, journeyman vet.

Fair enough. But another difference is having an elite young(ish) starter v. a young and unproven guy who could use the guidance of a grizzled veteran.
