Andrew Luck Retires from NFL

I meant some of the posters here were calling him a "bust" and a "choker" in the postseason. Not many QB's would've been able to play behind the crap o-lines he played behind. As for comments about the Colts, I couldn't care less. I can't stand that organization and hope they fail.
Thank you! Plus, posters HERE act like he didn’t lose to...oh..you know..THE NE PATRIOTS MULTIPLE TIMES...and last year’s KC squad; great teams. How can you shame him for losing to great/SB winning teams without much help? But the same people seem to forget when he led that monumental comeback against KC in 2013 & beat DEN in 2014! Last year was the best team Luck has ever had. Every QB ain’t Brady, but Luck was still an amazing QB. People need to take their emotions out of it and be pragmatic about sh*t.

With great regret i have decided to resign my post as commander in chief of the Colts We are without food and I have no offensive line. The men shot a few squirrels and cooked up some squirrel stew. Not as good as yours, but still tasty nonetheless. Morale is low. The fans booed me last night as I was leaving the battlefield. It is my duty to step down and let General Brisket lead the Colts to glorious victory in Miami this coming February.

Love, Andrew

Felger spent a many shows several years ago saying he would trade 10+ years of Andrew Luck for Tom Brady.

You have to wonder when towards the end of the season when some desperate teams call him and he can easily get $30m+ for 5 years next March if he changes his mind and returns to the Colts after they draft a QB and forces them to trade him.

After a complete 4-5 month break from football and his body being healthy if he'll have second thoughts, his last 2 full seasons were his best seasons by far, i really wonder if he'll regret not trying to win it all after watching this season unfold.

It's not like it's another shoulder injury where he can't play physically anymore, it sounds more like mental fatigue.

Funny, but they actually have one of the best OLs in the league.

Yeah, it's kind of a thing here to crap on every single current QB who isn't Brady. It's pretty silly. Brady's career is literally unprecedented. Our QB has no peers, living or dead. That's not normal.

Luck's career was almost entirely wasted with one of the stupidest coach-GM-owner combos in the league (Pagano, Grigson & Irsay), generally terrible OL play until 2018, and mostly garbage defenses. Apparently their medical staff is just utterly incompetent too. Luck played about as well as possible under those circumstances, and it's not hard to see why he's just done with it all in spite of the 2018 improvements to the coaching and OL situation.

Yeah, but they waited until after he was legally dead in 49 states & Canada to straighten it out.

Agreed regarding the OL, but he said they currently have NO OL. That’s false

I forgot about the AFC SOUTH CHAMPION 2013 and 2014 AFC FINALIST banners hahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

How do you explain the KC loss.

Andy Lucks days work.

36 attempts - 19 completions = 52% completion rate which sucks.
179 passing yards
1 TD
1 Fumble
3 Sacks
0 - 9 on 3rd downs.

Divisional Round - Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs - January 12th, 2019 | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Someone else has to take the blame other than Andy and the OL then.
Lol Bruh. That’s literally ONE game. Also, nobody’s making excuses for Luck at all. Yes, when he sucked, he sucked! He also sometimes held onto the ball too long and was cavalier with his body. However, just because YOU have a personal dislike/ agenda against him doesn’t make him a bust or bad QB no matter how you slice it. He was on track to becoming a sure-fire HOF QB and just because his OL didn’t play up its standards for ONE game, doesn’t mean they weren’t a great OL. Take your emotions out of it, stop being a homer & use simple logic. Unless, of course, you’re not able. No need to respond, because I ain’t going back & forth with anybody.

The Chiefs had a top tier pass rush with like 52 sacks or something. The rest of their defense had problems but they could hit the QB.

Speaking of which, Luck had the most hits+sacks for 3 straight years (2012, 2013, 2014) so it's not a stunner he broke in 2015. You can always blame some sacks on the QB, but those OLs were objectively traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash. Certainly worse than anything Peyton homers would cry about whenever he folded.

Do the colts tank for Lawerence next season?...

Sorry, i couldn’t help it. These letters got me in tears lol.

Yes he was, especially since Indy tanked a season to get him. Everyone will probably give him the injury excuse though.

Luck was quoted in his announcement saying "I knew it would be the last time I would throw a ball at Lucas Oil Field in a Colts uniform". Wouldn't surprise me at all if he heals up for a year or more..... and then joins the Jets once they figure out Darnold sucks.

Not sure if Lawrence is even available until the following season. He was a red shirt freshman. They’d have to settle for Tua.

Now is the time to think of reasons on why Andy was not a failure.

Whats your favorite Andy Luck story?

Definitely not hof material
