The only crazy talk here is you suggesting that Mahomes vs. Luck is in any way debatable. Mahomes is 23 and he's already passed Luck's career totals in MVPs, all pro berths, and has shown himself to be a better playoff performer.

Also, calling Luck young was debatable 2 years ago, now it's just factually inaccurate. He turns 30 in a couple weeks.

Mahomes has one season. Until he has a second one, it's fair to question his place on the QB totem pole. You used to be a guy who'd point that out. Now you're a guy posting idiocies like calling Luck a disappointment.

Honestly I do feel a little bad for Luck as he seems like a genuine good dude, unlike Manning who seems like a giant phoney to me. But I am cracking up laughing at Colts fans, I have such a huge disdain for that fanbase and franchise that this is absolutely delicious.

I am stunned that the Colts fans booed Luck as he walked off the field tonight.
Also the Colt's message board is lit up with many bemoaning how the timing of his retirement screwed the team

Andrew Luck is a class act who gave a lot for the Colts. He opted to be there for his family and for himself as the injuries and rehab took a toll on him. That is a super personal decision and until anyone has walked a few steps in Luck's shoes they will not know the toll it has taken on him. Good for him that he made a tough decision and had the integrity to not go through the motions while collecting huge $$$$.

I do not think he could make this decision earlier in the preseason as it was the slow progress that changed where he was at.
