It's a little funny we assume DT will be effective and not be Reggie Wayne 2.0

How's the Achilles and can he adapt quickly to the offense.

They paid him a bit of money but he's really an unknown at this point.
Well, he did play 1 season with Josh McDaniels as his head coach, and 1/2 season with Bill O’Brien as his head coach, so he has some basic familiarity with both the Patriots playbook and their practice / training methods.

If Thomas doesn’t make it, it will be due to loss of physical skill and not due to lack of playbook understanding. And certainly not because Patriots practice is too hard, which is why Wayne quit.

It is pretty amazing to look at this WR corps now and what it was going into the offseason. Great job by this front office. TE is really the only question mark, and it can’t be resolved this year, so they’ll find other ways to get the production.
I wouldn’t be too sure the TE Situation won’t be resolved this year. The wizard Belichick always finds a way. I would not be surprised if he makes a trade for a TE late in camp. Or even early in the season. Different position, but look at the Van Noy trade, what a great trade, and what a difference he’s made.

Inman could see the writing on the wall.

Hope you're right

It's just a feeling, but it didn't seem like Inman wanted to fight for a roster spot like the kids or even Maurice Harris.

Probably because he's 30, which would have been the reason he didn't make the Patriots.

The team betrayed our holy savior before the Goodell crowed 3 times as was prophesized.

PS - Later you ****ing *****. Seriously I thought he had an outside chance and could put up some numbers but this is a ***** move. If you can't fight to win the #4 spot on a SB champion over Dorsett, Harris, and Berrios you're garbage. Heaven forbid you fight to win the #3 spot from an undrafted rookie...

“We” ? I can’t be the only one who has zero expectations DT will be a factor.

Inman - "Do I have a shot at making the 53"?

Might as well grant it, he's not making this team.

Yes, but it is a favor to Inman. After all, the situation could very different at the time decisions on the 53 have to be made.

Would the patriots be worse off if they cut Inman on the last possible day, and even made a couple of phone calls in the last week to try to secure a 7th rounder for him?

Might as well grant it, he's not making this team.

I don't blame him in the least. The writing was on the wall. If he wants to have a good chance to catch on else where these last 2 week are critical for him.

I hope it works out for him and that he makes as much money as he can.

I say put Berrios on the Practice Squad. I'm not too worried about him getting poached by another team.

Holly crap, put him in pre-school. Dude is tiny.

Apparently DONTRELLE wasn't having FUN!
