Well, he did play 1 season with Josh McDaniels as his head coach, and 1/2 season with Bill O’Brien as his head coach, so he has some basic familiarity with both the Patriots playbook and their practice / training methods.It's a little funny we assume DT will be effective and not be Reggie Wayne 2.0
How's the Achilles and can he adapt quickly to the offense.
They paid him a bit of money but he's really an unknown at this point.
If Thomas doesn’t make it, it will be due to loss of physical skill and not due to lack of playbook understanding. And certainly not because Patriots practice is too hard, which is why Wayne quit.
