He understood the competition.
Per Mike Reiss
Trade his ass.
As long as he doesnt sign with a rival.
Berrios should too after last night very disappointing to say the least.
Everybody's tweeting it. Haven't seen the story yet.
He has been released, so they can't really trade him.
Whatever. Opens up a roster spot for Josh.
Inman gone, and Gordon on NFI. Which poster will show the first signs of panic?
Inman too soft.
No, just release him...let him sign with whomever he wants
Berrios diggin' it...
I say put Berrios on the Practice Squad. I'm not too worried about him getting poached by another team.
I think there’s a good chance that he’s off to the Lions, who had interest before he signed with the Patriots and lost Kearse for the season last week.
Perhaps they keep Gordon on NFI or Thomas on PUP. Get Berrios on the roster for week 1. Waive him after that when a lot of teams have picked up their spare players, get him on the PS and then activate Gordon/Thomas. Or something like that.
NFI and PUP situations do give the pats some extra wiggle room to protect some guys.
If Josh even makes it at this point...
Josh Gordon lands on NFI in his return to Patriots
no way he failed a physical they are just taking their time with him
He was training with Tim Montgomery, a former Olympic sprinter who now coaches speed. Unless there is an upper body situation I am sure he is in better condition than he was last year.
He will make it. This is SOP from the NEP. Its a free roster spot
