He understood the competition.

Per Mike Reiss

Berrios should too after last night very disappointing to say the least.

Everybody's tweeting it. Haven't seen the story yet.

Inman gone, and Gordon on NFI. Which poster will show the first signs of panic?

Berrios diggin' it...

I say put Berrios on the Practice Squad. I'm not too worried about him getting poached by another team.

I think there’s a good chance that he’s off to the Lions, who had interest before he signed with the Patriots and lost Kearse for the season last week.

Perhaps they keep Gordon on NFI or Thomas on PUP. Get Berrios on the roster for week 1. Waive him after that when a lot of teams have picked up their spare players, get him on the PS and then activate Gordon/Thomas. Or something like that.

NFI and PUP situations do give the pats some extra wiggle room to protect some guys.

He was training with Tim Montgomery, a former Olympic sprinter who now coaches speed. Unless there is an upper body situation I am sure he is in better condition than he was last year.
