Texas Stadium - Is it "safe" for Pats gear?

I've heard of the legendary lost member of the Village People...

villageplus1qb7.jpg

I, too, must quote this simply to contiue the lineage of this photo.

I am also in a Village People tribute band, PJ. Due to the competitive nature of such endeavors, I must insist that you not only wear your Patriots gear, you should swath yourself in buck scent and engorge yourself with bourbon. In all possible moments, swing your fists and proclaim the subservient nature of Texas cities to eastern coast metropolises/metropoli. Upon the completion of this tedious requisite, insult the practice of hairspray and perfume practiced by the ladies of said inferior region. Enjoy.

PS: For posterity: I'm not really in a VP tribute band. Some people are too literal. Just CMA...

I'm going to the game next week :rocker: and I'm wondering how safe it is to wear Pats gear there. I'm leaning towards not doing it, as I don't feel like having 10 fat, red neck, Texans jump me. I could probably outrun them, but if I did get caught, I would surely be squashed. I'm a quiet, respectful guy, but my fear is that if the Pats win and some hick fan sees my classic Pat Patriot hat, they may try to thrash me. And I don't want to be thrashed or arrested. So for any of you with insider info about the inhabitants of Texas Stadium, I'd appreciate your feedback.

Also would love to get together with any of my fellow Pats fans before the game. If any of you will be tailgating, I will gladly help drink your beer! Let me know when and where you'll be.

(I was going to post this in the "Road Games" section, but no one seems to go or post there. Sorry.)

Dude the Pats rule.....you can be proud publicly or discreetly, guess everyone has different ways in touchy situations. Good luck! GO PATS!

I've entered the Blarney Stone, and a couple of other bars at Fields Cornah, only not to sometimes remember how, or when, I left. As a matter of fact, I met my future wife at one of them, Cuchulainn's.

Good times, good times.

Indeed, laddie, indeed!

Slante!

Just stay off of Brokeback Mountain...

Stay in a hotel while you're there!

Leave the tents up on Brokeback to the Cowboys!

I've heard that Pitt. is bad and that the NYJ fans are surprisngly docile.

When I went to a game at Heinz Field in my Pats jersey, it was fine. The fans gave me a little fun ribbing, and were very civil (while the Steelers thrashed our team --- Halloween 2004). Remember, Pittsburgh is basically part of Appalachia, where people are truly friendly.

ill be thier, section 115....3 of us decked out head to toe in pats gear....ill be in my brady jersey....im loud and some times annyoing....i love going into other peoples stadiums and being loud....i went to ballpark in arlingtion for redsox's rangers....i got 30,000 people to boo me.....it was fun!

LOL, that was a nice one.

Thank you, sir. Seems you have a fine dilemma and we have, collectively, been far from reassuring.

We have but one life to live. I, for one, choose to live this crazy dream proclaiming my affinity for a particular moribund franchise that has made good. Texas is a little full of itself, anyway. Austin is alright, though.

Have fun, PJ.

Thank you, bard of patsfans.

So...what are you leaning towards?

I'm going to wear a Pats t-shirt and I'll bring a sweatshirt in case I have to cover it to escape through the parking lot after the game. I'll probably wear my Pats cap, too.

Yeah they're sold out now because they are 5-0

In August they still had plenty of season tickets available.

Typical front runners.
Incorrect.

Season tickets sold out during the summer. Might want to do better research next time.

I'll be in sec 130, in pats gear wearing Brady jersey and cap :D. It should not be a problem, but be ready for some heckling. There wont be any of :bricks: for sure...

And toothless.

hi cowboys fan here first of all i would like to take a minute to say good luck in sundays matchup may the best team win.

with that said i will comment on wearing patriots gear to a cowboys home game.first of all you have to understand what being from texas means we are very proud people we are proud of our state, our heritage, and expecailly our football team.most cowboys fans are die hard we have been with the boys through stallbach, white, aikman, and now romo and cowboys fans are very excited this year. however, we are civil people we respect your right as an american to root for the team of your choice. not only that to be rude is just not texan so wear your jersey and scream as loud as you want.we don't care
just be respectful of the fact that you are in our house if you don't go looking for trouble you will not find it

good luck
